So marvel next big cross-over is going to be the Avengers vs the X-Men! Looks interesting and I'm excited to see how it all plays out.

I gotta admit I'm more of a X-Men fan and with the current team rosters, I just can't see how the Avengers pull off the upset IMHO! But then again I had my money on Cap during CW and we see how that turned out lol

And how does this effect the rest of the MU as we know it?

Avengers, baby. They have the power and nobody out strategizes Cap.

The question is, which side does Wolverine take?

But in the end, you know they're going to team up and put the beat down on someone.

Honestly, I've been out of the Marvel U for so long now I don't even know who is on what team.

But if I had to pick, I'd say that its the "team up and beat down" option as that is usually how these things play out.

Well they are fighting over the Phoenix Entitiy again..

So Maybe she just comes in and destroys the entire universe....

So we can lead into the new 62 (10 better than that other company)..

This would make a lot more sense-- and if they did that as a reboot-- where every comic is mid story and the planet just blows up would make more sense than what DC did..

I can't speak for the books I don't read, but I've really enjoyed New 52, especially Batgirl and Aquaman.

Marvel's in a bit of a slump, and I'm getting less and less interested in them. I thought nothing could dull my enjoyment of Avengers books . . .

. . . but, guess what, SIX Avengers books a month will do it. This is why I quit the X-men in the 90's.

I was all fired up about the Avengers relaunch about a year and a half ago. I had not read a Marvel book in 5 years, but I was sucked in by the marketing of the new launch. Until I got to the store that day and the books were 3.99 each.

If they had been 2.99 I would have tried 2 or maybe 3. At 3.99 I just said forget the whole thing. No comic is worth 3.99 on a monthly basis.

I've seen some adds, and I know the Cable story has or is about to start, but with the Avengers movie coming up, I doubt Cable will actually kill any of the main characters. Although Marvel did publish a comic years ago called Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe.

Oh, and BTW,

I'm thinking that the X-Men will win simply because Colossus has become the Juggernaut and he'll probably go berzerk on everyone. Either, this is gonna be a good one.
