I get it. I understand how they are intending to utilize the new logo.

But it's still terrible.

The idea seems better now but the design still leaves much to be desired.

This new logo is hideous. I have shown it to a friend of mine who is a professional graphic artist, and he said that it looked like something a really obscure business corporation would come up with that didn't particularly want to promote itself.

As far as I'm concerned, it is utterly lacking in any sort of the excitement or intensity of its predecessor. Granted -- so are the books DC is presently publishing.

Still, it's a disgrace, and hopefully one more thing that can be quickly retired as soon as the DCnU collapses -- and the sooner the better.
