My ride did not get up early enough for Free Comic Book Day...

So by the time we went to Hastings and the comic book shop, all they had were the DC titles and the Sonic one.

Since these were free to begin with, will the companies eventually put them up on their websites?
OR atleast in some form to read for those that missed out?

There were so many that looked good...
Buffy
Dinosaurs vs Aliens
Arcana's The Intrinsic
Witchblade

The Buffy one is the only one that I am just super-wanting-needing to read.

No one that I know of has ever made the past "free" books available in any format outside of FCBD.

Occasionally you will get part of those free issues in a trade at a later date, but not in the same format as they are offered for the event.

My local shop was having a costume contest to win the free HC from Archaia for Mouse Guard. He ended up giving out 15 of those with plenty of others wishing they had gotten one too.

Many stores will end up getting some extra stock of some titles a week or two later, but most will charge for them to try and make back some of the expense they had to pay to get the books in the first place for the event.

My place always has extra and the same with other shops in my area. Just ask around.

My guy just sets aside the FCBD books I want. I pick 'em up the following Wednesday.

Yes, he's THAT good.

I didn't even bother going. It would have taken me an hour to get there with all the traffic in that area.

I know right. You couldn't even get near Austin Books and Comics.
