WTF?

Is this serious? Deathstroke has turned into an issue of Youngblood! And it has LOBO? Zealot... some Youngblood wanna-bes...

WOW...

Anyone else see this bad dream Slade is having?

That is because Liefeld has been give free run on the reigns of the title.

He is a one trick pony at best and that trick was played out long ago and no one seems to want to tell him.

This is what happens when you mix business with friendship.

Lee = brilliant artist who's Wildstorm imprint managed to find ways to stay relatively successful long after the whole "Image" glow had faded.

Liefeld = Anatomically incorrect artist who can't write an original story to save his life.

Add them together, and you get one hack who's now been given complete control over three books even though the first one he had has already been cancelled.

You DO realize that Deadpool is a cheap knockoff of Deathstroke, right?

Wade.

and as I recall, Deathstroke was a twisted take on Captain America.

And The Shield came out over a year before Captain America:

:)

Deathstroke might be a dark riff on Cap, but he's original enough. Deadpool is a straight up Deathstroke re-do created by Liefeld. It was such a Deathstroke rip-off that after seeing Liefeld's art and description, the writer he was working with (Nicieza) said something like "this is Deathstroke", and then they named him Wade Wilson as a nod to Deathstroke's real name (Slade Wilson) and so on. Or something close to that. I like both of them as characters, but Deathstroke is one of my top favs cause I was totally into Perez and the New Teen Titans as young comic reader. I'm not into Liefeld, so I don't see myself picking up his current run.

yes im totally aware they copied deathstroke to make deadpool thats why i was made the little comment saying deathstroke was a chump! and why my signature says what kind of name is deathstroke.

deadpool is bigger better and funnier! deathstroke just a old tired man with 1 eye!

i wouldnt say deadpool was a cheap knock off!!!
in fact i think hes a lot more interesting and has far better stories and is very funny in games and movies than deathstroke.
in fact deadpool is overall a better character than deathstroke in my opinion hes very entertaining and makes people laugh and is faster and tougher and better than deathstroke and would beat him easy due to the fact deadpool is a psycho and totally unpredictable so no matter how much prep deathstroke could do he couldnt predict what deadpool would do and coupled with deadpools regenerative abilities and the fact deadpool would do anything to win(avengers tower beat wolverine too)
deathstroke would have impaired sight due to being 1 eyed and hes a old man and also deadpools enemy is taskmaster who is highly skilled in all fighting and training styles.and deadpool knows hes in a comic and has no fear or morals or anything to hold him back he could just cuddle deathstroke and say i love you then boom c4 strapped around his belly blows up n kills deathstroke and deadpool regenerates! game over.

so nope i dont agree that deadpool is a cheap knock off hes my fave character of all time surpassing my childhood love of spiderman and superman.
deadpool may have been a copy at first but has risen higher and became more popular than deathstroke ever will!
but i like deathstroke too and just recently bought the figure as think he looks really cool too and isnt a bad character at all but doesnt have same appeal that deadpool has for me
