Read the blog, left a reply.
Basically, I like your idea.
But then Hindsight is always rosier.
I don't necessarily agree that we need a "what if...?" but I definitely think they should've left us "if only ..."
("if only the DCnU was part of the Multiverse and we could eventually get back to "my DCU" ...)

This is why I don't read comics.
Its just to messed up.
But there is hope...
Maybe one day the DC(nU) will find out that there are not just 52 universes, but maybe 52^52 universe.

Well, the DCnU was inevitable...my suggestion simply made the idea more palatable, knowing that the 'old' DCU was till out there somewhere.
The bigger issue I have with the DCnU is - why bother to start over, if you're not going to make a full effort? The whole project has been half-assed the entire way. It's a mess.

Agreed... I could have probably lived with a whole new fresh Crisis like cold reboot not this salad bar of a reboot and continuity.
