Yup, that's right!
News directly from DC's blog and Gaiman's twitter is that Gaiman is returning to the character that gained him his following ... Sandman
Paired with JH Williams III, the title will be a Vertigo published mini-series (with day and date digital) debuting later this year.
I cant tell you how excited I am for this to start.

Can I be the only one that watches The Guild here?  To explain my apparently poor joke, the guild is a net show about a group of World of Warcraft ish gamers. They went to a con, and one of their members named Zaboo extorted a cover spot (godfather style) out of Gaiman. His Master Chief henchmen also beat up Stan Lee and Kevin Sorbo. The amount of cameos they have gotten on that show is crazy.

I watch the Guild, remember that scene (now that you mention it) and still didn't get the joke. I'm more out of it than I thought.
