I've been looking forward to when these DC Eaglemoss figurines would be available to U.S. fans, and now they are! Is anyone else as excited about these as I am? The only downside is figuring out what I can cut out of my comic/toy buying budget in order to be able to pay for these! $14 a piece is going to add up pretty quickly for this DC fanatic. I can just buy certain characters, like just heroes or just JLA members, but in the long run I know I'll just change my mind and have to back-track and pick up the ones that I passed up in the first place...
What does anybody else think? Let me know...
Best,
Derb-

I'm looking forward to them. I actually think the magazines that come with these are pretty cool too. It's a bit strange to me that the DC ones come in at $14, but the Marvel ones are still at $12. I'm definitely going to get the first wave available in the US to see how much I like them.

They are very, very pricey, but they look so cool. They're sort of taking the place of DCIH for me, since they're so small.
As of now, I have Batman, Superman, Robin, Hal Jordan, the Flash, Donna Troy, the Spectre, the Creeper, and the Joker. Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Darkseid, Penguin, Doomsday are on the way from BBTS. Should be here Wednesday.

I am buying these but am pretty selective...I only will collective the Satellite JLA. I love the fact that they have actually confirmed every member (except Ralph) which is a first for just about ANY collection: Mattel, DC Direct, Hasbro, etc...so SIGN ME UP!!!
You really have to scrutinize the paint on these though, it's REALLY hard to get a well painted one. I try not to be too anal, but some of them are atrocious.

Man this is the first I've heard of these... really cool. About how tall are they? I'd have to be really selective, but I'd definitely like to get a few.

Saw them today at a comic book store, they are impressive when displayed. The only problem seems to be the price point, although checking some sites, most figures can be bought for under 12 bucks. But plan to collect them.

These pics are pretty worthless, but they give you a quick idea of what they look like and the scale (although Doomsday and Darkseid are big, they're just on the back of the shelf).
I've been ordering them through my LCS, and they seem to just show up at random. I'm pretty sure Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, Ras Ah Ghul, and maybe Deathstroke are out in the U.S., but not yet for me.

Nice collection you've got there! They remind me of the old DCD PVC figure sets, which is always a good thing.
I pre-ordered Nighthawk and Deadshot but haven't received 'em yet. I'm really looking forward to Jack of Hearts who is rumored to be on the way. No pics yet, but he should look awesome if produced in his classic suit. I hear the magazines are pretty cool on their own, especially when they cover lesser known characters. (Which are usually the ones I dig the most!)
Being British imports, they are kinda expensive. I usually only go for the older characters in their original costumes but it would be neat to complete an Avengers, Defenders, JLA, JSA, or X-Men roster.

I think of them (and the Marvel ones) like potato chips. I have to avoid them completely. If I cave and get one, I'm gonna want to keep going and going and going...

Pretty cool. Are these the same guys that made the Marvel ones? I've thought about picking up a couple here and there. Will at least pick up NOVA (Marvel) and Nightwing.

You sir, are THE man!
I haven't been by the blog for some time, so I missed this. Jack turned out a winner! I'll be getting a couple of him, one for the shelf and one for my desk. He's really well worth the $$$ to me.
Check 'em out, guys! There's some great examples of characters that would rock in the Marvel Universe line. If Hasbro takes a page from Eaglemoss regarding Jack of Hearts, we should receive an outstanding action figure.
And, xrmc20? Thanks, bro!!!
