So where is the best place to order this online? I really don't want to miss this and I can see it being snapped up fast.

It looks like it will be available through Sideshow which is a good place to start. I'll probably order through them. You can likely get it a few bucks cheaper through other online retailers like BBTS and the like. I anticipate it'll be up very soon. Maybe within the next week or two. Oh, and it looks even better than I anticipated. Spectacular! That is Superman!

Thanks for the info on where to buy, I agree this is one of the best Chris Reeve portraits I've seen, and I can't wait to buy one!!

Really really really hope I can get one of these when it is released. I do not want to have to pay scalper prices.

Official specs http://www.sideshowcollectors.com/forum ... hp?t=94818Just pre-order somewhere early and you will be fine. Sideshow will have an exclusive Kryptonite on chain accessory, so you'll have to order directly from them. Personally I'm going through BBTS. They are a little more expensive, but have great customer service and don't charge for preorders (or even cancelling preorders).

Is it just me or does John William's theme music pop in your head when you start looking at him?

I ordered this from a firm based over in here in the UK, as I read the shipping from Sideshow was expensive, and didn't know about the Kryptonite that came as an exclusive when I ordered so I'm just getting the regular version. Still, as nice as it would be to have, how often would you display the Kryptonite necklace with it?
I love this figure but reckon what others are saying is true and that we'll probably be getting another one of Clark Kent with a few extras after this one. And Ill be getting that too!! Do you think they'd ever get the license to the make an Adam West Batman, or Linda Carter Wonder Woman?

There are reports that this has had a few tweaks done to the head sculpt to make it even more accurate, was looking at some pics from a recent con and it dos appear to be a bit better, which I didn't think would be possible. So looking forward to this, and I've already placed my orders for the Batman 89 Batman and Joker. After that I'll be done though, as these could get way to expensive.

I can tell you that I got to take a very long and close up look at the head sculpt at SDCC, while thhe show was being set up, without any glass case. I thought it looked VERY good in person, muc better than the pictures that were published previously. I was not at all dissapointed!

Thanks, as good as the original pics released looked, in some the eyes looked a bit off or cross eyed, so I'm pleased to hear that it looks good in person. Can't wait for it to be released.

Quick update from Hot Toys... Seven years after his death. Paying tribute to our great actor Christopher Reeve of Superman, our superhero ever, we are proud to present the Superman Collectible Figure in Hong Kong this week! We are happy to have supported the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation with mission to advance research into spinal cord injury and improve quality of life for people living with paralysis.
