Recently, we discovered that there are counterfeit products of the Hot Toys Wolverine Collectible Figure from the X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie in the market which are mainly originated from Vietnam that we are very concerned about. The genuine and counterfeit products look similar at first glance but actually they look very different in terms of the collectibles’ quality, details, painting technique and packing.

Fans shall pay special attention to it. Just in case we re-produce the collectible products, we will make official announcement to let fans know.

I knew these had to fake. All of a sudden, one of the rarer Hot Toys figures was available in large numbers from one seller (using 3 names) in Vietnam with only stock Sideshow images in the auction listings, for about half the going price!

Looking at eBay, most being offered now are the fakes. There's the same seller now, using multiple fake names, listing these as well from HK, but using cleverly shot pics as to not show the claws too closely. A good tip as well for buyers is that he lists these as mnt in box, unopened, unplayed with, but how loose pics of his same as the one you're bidding on.
