Well, seeing as how the jooglejam that started the war dropped the ball on killing binLaden, I am happy that Obama remembered why we went to Afghanistan in the first place and got the job done that shrub and Cheney couldn't do. How typical of chicken-hawk republicans...

Typical that this has to turn into a political rant, right Glenn? My point is this, he made the call, but someone else took the shot. Him, and every other soldier out there right now are the true heroes.

I always saw it as any other business. Like working in retail or anywhere for that matter, no matter how good you do as an employee your boss always takes home all the credit. I know war is different but the fundementals of chain of command and credit is usually the same everywhere.

I'm not dissagreeing with you, not by far... just saying that's how I see this.

Absolutely!

Certainly, the Seal Team are the true heroes, but they got their marching orders from the White House. What happened to our two "Mission Accomplished" chicken hawks?

My daughter in law just returned from Afghanistan and that is after two tours in Iraq. All because shrub and his inept and corrupt cohorts thought that they could fight a war on the cheap and without a true battle plan.

You don't really want to get me started on this issue and try to defend the republicans on how they cost so many lives of valiant and honorable Americans and ruined our economy.
