... and price point.
It looks like these might be the start of some sort of collectible game line as well.
Each figure seems to come with specialized dice and a chest symbol ...
this is becoming much more intriguing....

$20 for a starter, $7 per individual figure .... not bad pricing really. Now if only someone could translate the instructions so my son and I could play I would place my pre-orders tonight when my son and I can sit down and figure out which kits we want to start with ....

So ... has anyone placed an order for any of the Tomy Beast Saga figures?
I'm sorely tempted to place a pre-order through BBTS (even though the prices are slightly higher I know I can rely on their customer service making me extremely happy) but I would like to get at least a bit more info on the line first (checklist of all wave 1 figures, a translation of the play rules, scale, articulation, etc.)

I'm almost all in on this line! I LOVE Battle Beasts so regardless of the rules I am on board! As for articulation, all I need is shoulder swivels a la classic Beasts! If the game rules end up being fun, that's a huge plus. If not, maybe Stickerfixer.com (sister site of Reprolabels) can do some resized classic Battle Beast rub signs to work with the Beast Saga figures: http://www.stickerfixer.com/battlebeasts/I for one would love to have multiple rub signs on the die in the figure's chest so you could play the classic "Fire-Water-Wood" and be able to mix up which sign you have like on TF Bot Shots! We have an Anime import store in town (Hammergirl Anime for those in the area, WOOT!) that might actually be getting the blind boxed figures in for this.
Which would be cool to be able to just walk into a local store and pick them up when I feel like it rather than placing an order and hoping for the best.
I'll let you know if/when it happens.

No official word on size, but I can't imagine they'd be all that big. I expect similar to classic beasts or at most maybe 25-50% bigger?
With an import price via BBTS of only $7.99, these certainly can't be much larger than that and still include dice and weapons with the dollar as weak as it is...

I placed a pre-order for a few figures with BBTS ( I just can't wait until the local Anime store might get them) and now I just have to sit back and WAIT for BBTS to get them.
Doesn't really solve my problem but at least I know I will have some of them eventually.
I hope.
Has there been any new info or updates on these yet?
