 8)

Hello to everyone, glad to be here. My wife and myself are both HUGE action figure/monster/schlock/etc. fans and collectors as well. I actually stumbled my way into (onto?) these forums while looking for information on various Kaiju. I lurked around for a bit and decided to join, I'm liking the vibe here. I would say that my 'main thing' is vinyl monsters and various other rubber monsters and creatures, but I also collect for many other lines. Right now we are both very into the Masters of the Universe Classics line. (My wife is a founding member over at He-Man.org, she has been there for over ten years, thats actually where we MET! ) I am a very easy going guy and always love a good trade.
I hope to meet some cool sorts here and also to partake in some great business transactions. :)

As to me "personally", well, I'd describe myself as a mixture of Hagrid (sp?) from the Harry Potter films and Vultan from the 1979 Flash Gordon film.

I'm looking forward to (hopefully) learning things I dont yet know about my hobbies and to flooding the marketplace area with pictures of our stuffs!

Take care and be well all! :D

Thanks guys! :)

And YES, nearly just like that character picture! (Only NIX the long shaggy hair, I shave my head, the size and the face are spot-on though! )

As to my wife, indeed. Her collections FAR outweigh mine in fact! (Modern Star Wars, Jem, She-Ra, Masters of the Universe, Buffy, and collections of Marvel Legends and DC Universe that would make Alex Ross weep! :P )

Take care folks! Looking very forward to post #50!

I'm just sorry that I missed out on your "Great Loli giveaway" ....sniff sniff...honk...

By the by, is that you there in your avatar picture? If so, just a question: Are you related to Tom Savini or perhaps me??

Take care

Yup, its me.

no relation that I know of, sorry.

Lolly's are gone but I may try something else later on, I'm goofy like that.

You seem to be fitting in quite nicely at this point. Looking forward to getting into some of the more trafficked threads.

Gotcha man. 8)

As to "fitting in", well, I'm only being myself. Life is far too SHORT to be otherwise, eh? :)

(Closely monitors 'post count' as to be able to finally unleash my trade goods in the market area! :P )

Take care!

Cantina Dan,

Thanks sir. :)

As to pictures of my vinyl monsters, sure. However, I only have a few bootlegs and mostly U.S.-released Bandai stuff at the time, NO high-end goodies like Yamakatsu or Bullmark, WAYYY too costly for me I'm afraid. (But hey, I CAN salivate at pictures of them, THATS free, right?!  )

I had a couple of "bulk deals" on the line with a couple of sellers in Japan, but the guy gets back to me VERY rarely so I never know whats up! (Ultraman monsters for $3 each in bulk, nothing RARE mind you, mostly mid 90s re-releases of older product, but still - -)

As I have said before, I just LOVE Kaiju, I dont care if the monster is 'worth' $5000 or .50, so long as it appeals to me!

I'm currently looking for:

....ooops...this isnt the market area! tsk tsk tsk SORRY!

Take care
