It's go time! After months of sweaty anticipation, it's time for the 2010 San Diego Comic Con! AFi will be bringing you up-to-the-minute coverage of the SDCC from our on-site crew: dynamic duo Julius Marx and Abby, the stealthy Cantina Dan, and the ever-intrepid Mike "SDComics" Walker. The rest of the team will be putting the kibosh on the hijinks and shenanigans here, so watch those hands, mister. All SDCC news topics from Mattel, Hasbro, Four Horsemen, DC, Marvel, etc will be in the individual company forums, with more show news on the 2010 Convention Coverage forum! And you can follow the latest updates, breaking news, and reveals on the AFi Facebook page, and the AFi Twitter page! You can also see our tweets on the right side of the AFi home page. And of course, we will be providing links to all the great coverage from all the other toy sites, so stay tuned! On your mark, get set...TOYNERRRRRRRRDS GOOOOOOOOO!

It's kind of strange to be on this side of things. Usually I'm at the Con from dawn to dusk, with no time to go online until Saturday night when it's time to print out my boarding pass for Sunday. Sigh. Only 366 days until SDCC 2011! Woo Hoo.

What bad is Ive started to look forward to this weeked much more than the toyfare reveals-- since everyone seems to pull out the stops on this one-- of course Hasbros Star Wars will be a little lackluster- since they are saving some stuff for a couple of weeks out.. And why do I feel more excited seeing these pictures than I get at christmas

I just want to say thank you for the amazing pictures you all have put up so far. It's really a blessing for those of us who can't be there. Now go take pictures of Underground Toys and Doctor Who already!!

I can do that, but Underground is just selling at the show not really displaying. I've heard they will have one reveal, and we will cover that... but their booth is really just stuff that is already out and for sale.

I couldn't be happier with how you all are covering the con; it really is the next best thing to being there for those of us who couldn't go. I do think it's too bad that Underground Toys didn't display; I think they should have gotten the word out. "Doctor Who" is BBC America's number one show, and I think more folks would like to know that Underground Toys is out there. Thanks again for all you are doing for those of us stuck at home this week!!!

Did you guys have the Behind the Plastic panel last night? I can't find any info on it anywhere. Will you be posting pics and info from it. Did Spy Monkey reveal a new weapon or accessory?
