Luckily I live locally in San Diego and I was fine with just getting Thurs, Fri, and Sat. But there are alot of people that never even got to the purchasing screen. TicketLeap's system made the Matty MOTUC experience look advanced. Actually, they could take some tips from Matty.
Don't give up if you're trying to purchase tix. Keep hitting refresh through out the entire process, DO NOT hit the back button, or close the browser and re-open a new one.
LESSON to be learned here. IF attending the Con this year, buy your tix for next year AT THE CON!

Four day tickets are gone. Friday is gone. I guess I'm not going this year. Can't really afford it anyway, so no great loss. But now that DirecTV decided to drop G4, I won't be able to catch the vibe of the show, which is a shame. At least AFI will have plenty of pics of the new stuff! Now, I just have to worry about the exclusives.

Yeah, constantly refreshing was the key. I started at noon eastern time and got through the whole process a little after 1pm. I must have hit "control R" a million times.

It is what it is. Glad I always purchase my tickets a year in advance at the previous SDCC.

I think my wife said it best when she said if folks can sell Super Bowl tickets without the servers crashing why can't SDCC? I think it shows that San Diego may be too small a venue for SDCC now Don't panic too much Shellhead, I'm sure that they'll have cancellations the closer we get to the event I've had to bow out because of my obligations to my family. Which is unfortunate because I have a few friends attending this year. Still, I don't want my wife stressing out about our son, who will be 2 by that point. That is too long of a stretch to expect a child to stay in a stroller.

Poor planning can happen in New York or Mayberry. San Diego has gone above and beyond to accomodate the Con. They're even adding a ton of space the the Convention Center. No matter if it's in LA or SD, the same people run the darn thing.

That's not an option for somebody who didn't attend the actual Con, which is what this thread is about, because only those who weren't there would be using Ticketleap, now wouldn't they?

I was on Saturday morning to try and get tix for a buddy. What a horrible experience. Green Screen of Death. After a while and by some miracle I got as far as adding a 4 day pass to my cart. When I tried to process the order it was all over. Pretty much everything had sold out. Yeah, it was like your worst Matty experience. Feel really bad I couldn't come through for my pal!
If you need something therapeutic "misery loves company" check out the love on Comicon's facebook page, lol.

In light of the bitterness some people have been expressing towards me since they weren't able to purchase tickets to the 2011 SDCC, shellhead, all of my friends where able to nail down 4-day passes on Saturday. I'm glad my group will be together again for 2011.

I get attacked by shellhead and how do you expect me to react? Sorry but if I get attacked by someone on here you better believe that I'm going to respond. I get it that you two are the main agitators of me on here and that's fine. No matter what I post I'm always going to be attacked by you and shellhead.
You can use the petty smileys and such but it's ok it doesn't do anything to me but laugh. Have a good day alcinde and hopefully there's a ray of sunshine in your otherwise cloudy morning.

[MOD Hat] - Let all take a step back. It's a frustrating situation to be sure. We all know JB is going to keep repeating himself. That's his thing. We all expect it. It's not the worst thing in the world. Let's get back to discussing and helping each other whenever possible. [takes off MOD hat]

shellhead keeps repeating himself as well on other threads but no one jumps down on him. Got to love bias at its best.
