I checked out the Hasbro Marvel Signature figures. They look O.K, better than Famous Covers, which is what they will undoubtedly be compared to(Mego too of course)
The figure selection is pretty good(Romita Doc Ock!)except for Iron Spider. That one reeks of Hasbro hugging up to Joey Q(it's his ugly design after all)
and the packages look just like the new Star Wars ones.

Action-Figure always is good about rushing to get pics online, but their crappy server makes trying to view them one of the most frustrating experiences known to man.
On a good day their server blows!
Grrr...

I like how Dooshboard talks about Julius and this site.
"we'll scoop his ass yet"
funny funny.

Yeah. I STILL don't get their phantom beef with me. It's amazing how much energy people can put into a grudge that only they care about.
It's a BIG internet out there. Room for all. Everyone will get scoops at some point or another.

But enough about that... here's some more news from the floor tonight:
Hasbro is already working on intergrating Marvel into the Attacktix line. There will also be a Marvel Stratego game. and they will work Marvel into their Heroscape game. (sounds to me like they want to take back a chunk of the Heroclix $!)
And that full sized Mack 5 that is at the Art Asylum booth was built by a company called Hero's Garage and it is full driveable and roadworthy. I'd LOVE to take that thing on a spin down the 405 one morning on the way to work!

Just wanted to chime in here and thank Otter and Daniel in advance for all their hard work getting this together. I nearly fell out of my seat looking at those 4 Horsemen DC figures. Great stuff!
Have fun, you guys! Eagerly awaiting all those new pics!

Tell you what, it sucks being in Eastern Standard Time when SDCC is goin' on! I woke up in the middle of the night, snuck out of the bedroom and went downstairs to take in all the great pics from Preview night!
Some thoughts...
DCSH: Great Caesar's Ghost! Fantastic Stuff! The only problem is everything they unveil just makes me want more!
Hasbro's Marvel Legends: Coming along. Really digging Planet Hulk the most out of this wave...and Herc, too. Look forward to hearing/seeing who's in the next wave come Friday.
Hellboy Animated: Gentle Giant comes through where Mezco didn't and brings us animated Hellboy figures!! Thanks, GG! Man, 10+ years ago when I picked up the first issue of Hellboy I never would imagine that there'd be a movie, animated movies and 3 different lines of Hellboy action figures!
DC Direct: Outside of the Minimates (great stuff!) there hasn't been any DCD pics that have gotten me excited. I hope we get to see the product that Daniel announced on the board. THOSE assortments sound great! Another McGuinnes wave! The Modern FA wave sounds great!
...well, I need to go get my baby up, so that's it for now!
Ah....SDCC....how I love you.
Jeff
