Maybe someone who attended last year can shed some light on this . . .

I seem to recall hearing that Mattel's panel last year was really bad. Any reason to expect this years will be better?

It wasn't bad. It was just their first one and there were some technical difficulties.

This year they will be talking about their plans with the expanded license.

I am really excited to hear what Mattel has to offer in the next year--I really love all of their DC related products and it just seems like they're about to explode with new stuff! :D

I've already made my choice and it's Mattel all the way. I am much more excited to see what their plans are for DCSH than to see what Hasbro will be cranking out in regards to Star Wars. I have almost completely halted my Star Wars collection, so DCSH is at the forefront of my action figure collecting attention 8)

I'll be in Vegas on Friday attending my brothers wedding. I'm praying I can convince some of my friends to go to the panel and film it with a video recorder if they allow that at the panel...

The best part was how very proud the designers where about the Grundy box and how you could hear the crickets in the audience...I felt so sory for those designers. they where so proud and we where so very very very underwhelmed at the vibrating box

If I could get a hotel room Friday and Saturday and was definitely going it's Mattel all the way. No brainer for me.

Who cares about Star Wars anymore??? Always thought it was overrated No offense.

Yeah. I gotta go with Mattel's. I'm not sure how much MORE Star Wars stuff they could show than they just did at CIV. I'm sure all of the SW sites will have great coverage of the panel and if it's anything like last year they kept all of the new stuff under cloth until after their panel.

D.

OK, good point. I'll see you all there.

Maybe since most of the AFI folks who are going to Con will most likely be at this panel we should make a point to introduce ourselves or something...

Along with introducing ourselves, I'd like it if someone let me sleep in their room  Everything hotel is booked!! Except Tijuana! Looks like I'm missing this one...again :x

Sorry Cantina-Dan. I used to love Star Wars, just never got how some people take it to the level they do, but to each his own!

I own the movies and many toys.....until they start moving on ebay. May the Force be With You.
