If we make it another year and then there's always a potential for another year after that and there's still a lot of great figs out there they could make. If they already have some of the key ones you're interested all the more reason to sign up for this year and see where it goes.
I'm buying 2 subs when my new ccard comes in. I don't dare use my old one because it expires at the end of this year so I ordered a new ccard just to use for my subs and should be in early next week. Boots I probably will, Boots, but it's mainly the $$ factor, and now the horror stories I've been hearing about DR in regards to the subs. I don't have the time to waste by fighting with poor customer service. However, I really do want that Monsieur Mallah and Brain... Dusty, I'll put up with DR for you if you want me to buy a sub for you.

Man, they seem to be pulling out all the stops. Have you all gotten this email? I'd love to be able to get an early crack at SDCC exclusives. That is, assuming next year's exclusives don't suck like this year's did.

I'm new here and I want to say, I'm in for the sub. I bought mine today. Since it was payday for me. I also read some where on Matty, that DR customer service is getting better. They posted some links to where some folks post positive replies. I tried to find it on Matty but couldn't. I, myself, never had any trouble with DR. So, I am a witness for good service from them. I have faith the sub will go through.

Okay, I just purchased a subscription. I even purchased a Watchmen subscription after looking at my mixed shelf of Toy Biz Independent Comic Book Heroes and thought they would look nice next to them.

They sure sucked this year, didn't they? Those little Tiny Titans just aren't worth $20 plus shipping to me. But I actually am glad when the exclusives suck - that way I don't miss out on anything I want like I did with Hasbro - and Ebay can go to hell. I would be a lot more likely to sign up with Matty if they gave me first crack at Hasbro's SDCC exclusives.

Huh. I liked the Mattel SDCC better than everyone else's this year, Hasbro included. I would have liked the X-Force box set, but that was it. From Matty, I got the Tiny Titans, Dark Knight Batman, Ghostbusters Dana Zuul and Monster High Scarah Screams.
I guess everyone's mileage varies!

Just out of curiosity...
How many more people would have signed up for the sub if the exclusive were different? What if the exclusive had been Shining Knight & Winged Victory or something a little more 'fan-demanded'?
