Ok, this has been bugging me a bit. I just bought the JL DVDs and it seems that there are a lot of characters that are featured in prominent roles on the cartoon, that really "should" be made as figures.

And I don't mean just the Question, Captain Atom, Lobo and all the ones tied up in legal matters.

I've just started watching the DVDs, but I'm already reminded of many characters that really would be logical choices to have been made into action figures. Here is the list so far.

1.) The Manhunters - featured really prominently in the "In Blackest Night" episode. And would be a great villain as a toy. Heck, a Con exclusive would be great of these guys.
2.) Lord Orm (aka Ocean Master in the comics) : Aquaman's half-brother and main bad guy in "The Enemy Below"

So far, that's what I've come up with. What are some others that really would be logical choices for figures? And be specific as to their major role, and what episode.

Well we could go on for hours, but from what's left of season one of JL, we need:

Secret Origins: Invaders, Imperium (the grunts and the leader of the invading force that led to the formation of the League)

Blackest Night: Manhunters (the antagonists), Kanjar Ro (another antagonist), Galius Zed, Ganthet/other guardians (supporting roles)

Enemy Below: Orm (the antagonist) and Mera (for her big supporting role)

Injustice For All: Cheetah (come on Mattel, it's about time!)

Paradise Lost: Hippolyta (supporting character who reappears later in the season), Felix Faust and Hades (the joint antagonists)

War World: Mongul (villain), Draaga (villain? whatever he was)

Brave and the Bold: Solivar (supporting role)

Fury: Aresia and Tsukuri (the antagonists)

Legends: The supporting heroes- Tom Turbine, Catman, Black Siren, Green Guardsman, The Streak
Villains- Sir Swami, Dr. Blizzard, The Music Master, The Sportsman, Ray Thompson

A Knight of Shadows: Morgaine Le Fay and Mordred (antagonists)

Metamorphosis: Simon Stagg/Chemo (antagonist)

Savage Time: from the past- Easy Company, Blackhawks, Steve Trevor (all minor supporting roles with Steve's being a little bigger)
villain- Vandal Savage


All told, there's quite a few characters left. My list has 32 members (leaving out the individuals from the Blackhawks and easy company, since I don't know their numbers). However, I'd be content to just see:

Anything else is just icing on the cake.

I think the most important characters are ones that actually had episodes that spotlighted them, rather than the throwaway villains or background fodder with no backstory.

Spotlighted characters include Deadman, Captain Marvel, Question, Adult Supergirl, Galatea, Vandal Savage, Chronos, Toyman, etc. I think they should probably give the background characters a rest this year (apart from some females since there are less to choose from), and focus on spotlighted characters, since it's very likely this is the line's last hurrah.

ALL good choices. Cheetah is a MUST! Morgan LeFay and Mordred were in a couple of episodes I think. They should be made. I have a GREAT one for the list...Felix Faust!! HE needs to be made by Mattel and DCD!!
