Arrakhat, fantastic post and analysis of Justice League Season 1.
And I'm with you 100% on your must have list:
Manhunters
Cheetah
Mongul
Morgaine Le Fay
Vandal Savage
These are all absolutely logical characters to be made into figures. Sure, they're all villains. But Season 1 didn't introduce many major "other" heroes, as it concentrated on the original 7 team members (and Aquaman).
Being the main villains in hour-long cartoon features, I'd think would give the "exposure" that Mattel would want.
Though I love figures like Aztek, Starman....and Nemesis, it's just so darn puzzling to me why a toyline centered around a cartoon, has so far left out so many "main" featured characters.

Thanks Fone Bone for adding Tsukuri. Many people over look her, but she's near top of my list along with choices everyone else is making.
Tsukuri Appearances: Fury Part One, Part Two, Dead Reckoning. and The Great Brain Robbery

I like Tsukuri as well. I had concocted a whole plot in my mind, where after seeing the error of her ways and paying her debt to society (and with Batman's approval) she joins the JLU, as Katana. Unbeknownst to the League at large, Batman has created a failsafe within the JLU--his Outsiders: Metamorpho, Green Arrow and reserve members of the JLU that would be ready to stand against the League if they ever crossed the line. But then Timm and co. did the whole Cadmus storyline. So my hopes were dashed.
I like Dr. Destiny as well. But he looks so much like Skeletor. "Is Skeletor part of the Justice League?" "Um actually he is standing with the Legion of Doom and that is Dr. Destiny." **takes valium**

Well, to be honest I would love to buy every character posted until now
The only character that I would like to get and wasn't mentioned is a generic JLU civilian staff member (yeah, I know I said it a hundred times before )
I would be a really happy fanboy if Mattel release the Future JLU as a convention exclusive pack (C'mon they're the Timverse brave and bold #28 Justice League, the very first appearance of the Justice League in animated style!)

I want everyone mentioned too, I'd even take a staff member, that way my villains have someone to kill when I play

Sorry, I cannot get on board with a Watchtower staff member employee. I wouldnt even want them if they were the Task Force X guys in disguise. Especially if it meant kicking another character off the list. I wouldnt want to display them.
I would rather have Task Force X in costume--though I suppose we dont know what Plastique looks (looked?) like in costume. [more fanfic: I hoped that Plastique would return with actual superpowers because of how the explosion that nearly killed her interacted with Captain Atom or the Ares robot thingee).

I would go nuts for a Clock King in his classic costume! That would make me pee. Seriously.
