Those two are definitely rare, just curious Ham, but aside from their gadgets and paint schemes, is there anything that make them unique from the other Supermans & Flashes with the same articulation?
Flash looks to be made of a different plastic, but that might be the camera's fault.

Flash and Superman are made with the standard 10-POA molds. Both figures have paint schemes and accessories that haven't been used since, though the gray version of Silver Storm Superman featued a similar deco. The plastic used for the Flash is nearly orange in coloring. so that could account for the oddness in appearance.

I did get Hawkman and the Joker from Big Lots last year. That was the ONLY JLU item I purchased myself in 2007. I got the SDCC exclusive three pack, but that was thanks to a good trader on this board.
I have also never seen a Shade.
I did see a Mr. Miracle at Target a week ago, but I didn't have cash on me. I went back the next day, but of course he was gone. Score that one my fault, but prior to 2007 I had every figure I wanted from this line except battle armor Lex.
I don't think I've left the hobby, I think the hobby left me.

Who can we all agree is the most difficult figure to find? Even if you have the figure!
I think it's Volcana

I've only gotten Stargirl and Parasite... The rest I check on ebay alot and Volcana is the most expensive by far and also there is only about 1-2 of her everytime I check.... That's just how I'm guaging it.
I never saw, Hawkman, Barda, Obsidian, Shade, Deadshot, Obsidian, Star Sapphire, Sand...
I got a couple off of ebay, but I'm in the same boat as you...

No spreadsheet? I keed, I keed.
Volcana is tough. I actually dont even remember how I got mine though...probably ebay. Fire and Ice are proving to be elusive.

I've actually seen Joker, Shade, and Blue Devil a few times each (well, not recently on Shade, but back when he was released.)
Saw Mr. Miracle once and grabbed him.
Figures I've never seen at retail:
Volcana
Sand
Star Sapphire
Obsidian
Big Barda
Deadshot
Hawkman
Gorilla Grodd
Fire
Ice
I've gotten all but the last three off ebay etc....lucked out on Volcana and got her for $10 plus shipping, though.
Here's hoping '08 will be better.

On ebay as of this posting:
Volcana: 1
Obsidian: 2
Hawkman: 4
Sand: 2
Vigilante: 30+
Mr Miracle: 26
Grodd: 9
Parasite: 7
Deadshot: 1
There may be a few I missed(I only checked Justice League listings and I did it pretty fast) but that's a rough idea of what is on there everyday. There are a few of these figures that are available in lots as well.
A quick scan of completed items shows that loose figures sell for about what carded figures sell for(although sometimes more, Barda's and Deadshot's sell for about $30 each loose or $30 carded together)

I'd agree with Volcana being the rarest of the retail releases. Weird, that a mass-release is harder to get than any convention exclusive.
I was kind of bummed that Mattel was talking about doing more JLU convention exclusives, then I realized Grundy and Shayera were probably two of the easiest to find figures in the last two years. I certainly paid more for Barda than I did Shayera.
