I broke down and went with "All of the above" because there are a lot of good concepts there... Hopefully they could do a good mix of those ideas. My biggest concern would be them following the pattern of the Target two-packs -- first release is Superman/Bizarro, exactly the same deco as the ones on the pegs *minus* Bizarro's accessory, followed by Superman/Clark and Batman/Batgirl which each have one completely new figure but the other one is exactly the same as the singles on the pegs (minus Batman's batarangs) and the Superman being exactly the same as the one in the other two-pack -- this ain't JLU folks... The TRU sets aren't much better since the Batman is "new" but he seems to be the same in all three sets, the only really unique figure is the blue/black Robin...

My reasoning for doing this poll in the first place was to mostly to let folks express what they wanted and to avoid the mis-steps of the DCD two-fers. SA Batgirl/Joker really bugged me (and lots of other apparently). She sould have been paired with Killer Moth. Joker coulda' been done any number of ways. And has been over the last several years.

I voted for a natural pairing. I'm not really into GA stuff or the civilians. The vs. wouldn't be a bad idea, but Mattel already seems to be including that in the waves already (Batman vs. Penguin, Aquaman vs. Manta, GL vs. Sinestro, etc.)

I think two packs are a perfect way to get civilians like Alfred, Gordon, Lois and Jimmy.

I'm sorry, but an over-abundance of civilians will kill this line deader than Shocker Toys.

To me, this falls in the "be careful what you ask for" category.

2 packs could mean Superman/Batman + 2nd character.
2 packs could cost more than 2 single figures - DCD did that always.
2 packs could mean 1 character you want paire with 1 you don't want.
Example - person only wants to build the Justice League. No villains. Now they might be forced to get Black Manta to get Aquaman, Sinestro to get Green Lantern, Capt Cold to get Flash.

Don't shoot me for this...but it might be smart to re-release some of the older DCSH figs with NEW paint applications and a brand new figure to keep prices low....

Brown Man-Bat and a new Bat-related character...

Batgirl repainted as the NEW Batwoman and a new character...

Clayface in a different color and a new character...

Cyborg SUperman in his Sinestro Corp costume and a Green Lantern...

There were just too many characters at the end of the DCSH line that were very hard to find.

I love that idea, but some of the hard-to-find figures from DCSH don't need repaints, just rereleases. Two-face and Supergirl II come to mind. I'd like to see multipack rereleases for those.

Batman
Batgirl II
Azrael
Two-face

Superman
Supergirl II
Cyborg Superman
Darkseid

I'd love to get four-packs like those. If we got Ghost6's suggested packs as well, I'd say drop the Cyborg Superman from my four-pack and replace him with Mongul.

Ghost6, I really would buy all of those packs (provided that the new character is cool too). Great idea. :D

I wouldn't mind the two-packs, limited, as a way to get a few civilians, i.e. a Superman refresh with Lois Lane, or something like that. (Basically, kind of like the Clark Kent set from last year.) But only one or two...I think too many would end up as shelf warmers.

You neglected the most obvious 2-pack theme, Famous Team-Ups.

Batman & Superman

Green Lantern & Green Arrow

Superman & The Flash (packaged in racing poses, natch)

Oracle and Black Canary

Luthor & Brainiac

Superman & Wonder Woman

I voted for natural pairings. There are lots of good choices on the list and it was tempting to vote for "all of the above", but I just don't have interest in "then and now" type figures and there are very few civilian figures I would want. I also realize that we could get stuck buying figures of characters we already have to get new ones, too, especially in the case of hero/villains packs. For example, I could see another Batman packaged with Poison Ivy, Superman with Metallo, Green Lantern with Dr. Polaris, and so on. While it would be cool to get some more obscure characters, it would also kind of suck to keep getting the same characters over and over again. I already have four different Batman's and could really do without any more.

Some natural pairings I would like to see would include:

Hawkman & Hawkgirl
Booster Gold & Blue Beetle
Green Arrow & Black Canary
Mr. Miracle & Big Barda
