Seriously, I think the new line has tons of potential. But does anyone notice the odd trend? It's basically all our old JLU ideas. Civilians, Thanagarians, goons...
And the figures they showed off? Hal, Question, Shazaam...
Coicidence? I think not.

It does grind me a little bit, but from what I understand the JLU/Timm-verse had restrictions even beyond just Charlton characters etc. I guess they had to run each and every character through some kind of process before getting the go-ahead. With this line I believe those restrictions do not exist.
I don't know why any of this is, so if someone could explain it to me that'd be great, but this is just the way it is from what I understand.
I support the new line, but it's everything I had hoped they would do with JLU. Though the new line won't surpass JLU in my mind until they do every character featured in JLU plus some. JLU really really raised the bar beyond Super Powers here...

Funny I was going to post the same comment yesterday when I found the images for DC Infinite Heroes.I felt the things we have been begging for years for JL/JLU was just made available to this new line.Just kinda urks me.Do not get me wrong that new line is AMAZING!!!But if this is good for a new line why not for the line with a hardcore fan base that will buy anything Mattel puts out for DCAU?
If I do not get my Battle damaged Superman with 2 Parademons, or my Shayera Hol with 2 Thanigarian warriors in a 3 pack for my DCAU line I am going to be Ticked. There is no reason why Mattel cannot make it happen.
Now we know why all but Target dropped the JLU line....DCIH is meant to squash and replace it.
Sad and frustrating....

Or you could reverse that, and say that because every store other than Target dropped the line, Mattel started up one similar using all the ideas we'd given them, one that hopefully the other stores would buy into.

OR you could say that it's great we're getting JLU anywhere and DCIH and DCUC and Superfriends and The Batman and Batman Movie Masters and DC Imaginext and DC Heroclix and DC Direct. I mean, really...it's a toy bonanza for DC fans across the world!
Peace,
Chip

What kind of pie?
Mike
(I've always preferred cherry. Apple's not bad, though.)

Comparing DCIH and the JLU, the Timm-verse animated JL line is THE tops...

Well while I'd love this stuff in JLU, I'm not complaining. Obviously Mattel is listening. Even if they aren't exactly doing what we want, they're using the ideas elsewhere.

I would have REALLY prefered all these characters in the JLU line, Mattel.

What the heck is this one, Mike? Isn't that Rorshach?
Edit: I just now really took a good look at it and realized it was a joke. Don't I look like a horses ass:)
My favorite Hostess ad was the one with Captain Mar-Vell and Nitro. When I was a kid, I thought Captain Marvel was fighting an old guy with long hair.
