Well, it looks promising that we'll be getting some of the harder to find figures of recent days. (Still not having the Grodd set, Barda/Deadshot pack and Star Sapphire/Sand pack I need to do stuff like this to give myself hope!!)

Im pretty sure its 16 new figures per wave not in two waves, thats ridiculous and another slap in the face imho

I can't wait for this! That's an awesome 6 pack. I never expected to see Farager and Lashina figures but I'm glad they were made! Makes me really want Highfather, Kalibak, Desaad, Steppenwolf, Granny and the other Female Furies to be made.

I'm assuming that was a typo for the simple fact that if it was accurate that means we would be getting a total of 46 figures only 16 of which are "brand new". No way in hell can that be accurate...I think it’s more likely that we will see five figures and two three packs per wave with only one six pack. For a total of 28 figures. 12 repaints/re packs seams more realistic.
EDIT: damn, Cantina-Dan beat me to that point.

They specifically mention 2 waves. Is that 2 waves for 2008 or is that 2 waves only and we'll wait and see if there are any more? I'd be fine with just 2 more waves, but I'd still like to see more in 2009.

I am confuse. So that means Wave one will have the 2 different 6-packs. The one with Mantis, Forager and Lashina plus 1 more of different characters?

15 repaints and 15 reissues is a lot for 16 new figures... After a whole wave of repeats i would hope mattel would be able to do this:
Wave One
6 Pack: 3 new figures

Single: New figure

Single: Repeat
Single: Repeat
Thats 16 New figures in one wave without stretching it
