I wondered about that, but the back of the card says: "This gift card does not expire and no dormancy fees will be charged." so I don't have to worry about that, but I went ahead and bought some stuff anyway (not hard to spend $25, especially since they don't have free shipping on anything I wanted).

Interesting news about the JLU at KB: they appear to be new production runs. JediJones mentioned it at the Fwoosh: http://www.thefwoosh.com/forum/viewtopi ... &start=172

There's even a change: the MM 3-pack features a colored translucent MM, instead of the all clear original version.

I searched on eBay, and found a seller with the three sets being found.

The first two don't seem to have any changes. The set with MM is, of course, different, as he is no longer clear white. The red straps and belt seem to be a solid red as opposed to the transulent red on the previous 3-pack version.

I might have to pick a set up.

yes, the KB Toy sets that are out this week do have semi-clear manhunters.

It has a hint of color to most, but it certainly is not the "true clear" version.

I popped in today, and in 3 days they had sold about 2/3 of these. They are going pretty fast.

I had my brother, around Philadelhia-area look, same three packs mentioned before.

I got the Superman/Brainiac/Martian Manhunter set in the mail this past weekend.

MM is an all-new paint scheme. The straps, belt and cape clasps are solid paint, and the clasps and buckle are green. MM himself is also more green in color.

Here's a comparison. The new one on top, and the early 2006 3-pack version on the bottom.

And for fun, the various MMs made by Mattel using the 5-POA mold.

L to R: 2005 JLU single and 3-pack version; 2005 JLU Planet Patrol version; 2006 DCSH JLU MM 3-pack version; 2008 JLU 3-pack version; 2007 JL Original Members Collection version

Another thing of interest is that Mattel redid the packaging. It now features the new DC logo, and a different font for the text.
