I agree with many of you. I became sooo excited when Mattel announced these. This way I could get the DCU without taking up tons of space. Then I saw the pics. I know that a lot of you say these are still in pre-production, but if they really are, I say they need a lot more work. GI Joes and Star Wars are pretty detailed, so why can't these? And yeah, a lot are in spandex, but for many it's more...Gardner, Marvel, the "All-New" Atom's belt...all I'm saying is there could be more detail in this line. Props to Mattel for cranking these out, but a little more detail can go a long way.

I was really excited when this line was announced but now after seeing the (almost) finished product, I've decided to pass on this line(mostly due to lack of detail on certain characters) and stick with JLU and DCUC.

BTW, for those who are interested...TNI just added pics of the Weaponer of Qward, modern Atom and Manhunter Robot.
For those not interested, hey, ya got something new to complain about! ;-)

Thanks Jeff.
I never expected the Weaponer to have a face that color. It matches how I think of Sinestro, but I'm not sure that means anything.
I'm liking this line more and more, but I already have a disaply space problem. Total Justice, JLU, HeroClix, DCDirect. Not sure where I would put these when I already cannot display all I have.

It doesn't at all have anything to do with Sinestro, just a crappy color choice.
Weaponers have been shown to have pinkish-causasian colored skin.
Korugans(of which Sinestro is classified as) have a reddish tint to their skin.
This purple doesn't match either color. And even if they were gonna try to match Qwardians with Sinestro is doesn't make sense. They are galaxies and universes apart.
And yes I knew all this off the top of my head...

I am excited for this line purely for the character selection, a somewhat consistent scale, lower price point, and similar style. Sure, the sculpts are not top notch but I guess we can't get it all. I just can't believe we're getting a Weaponer in a mass-market line. Take that DCD!

Has Mattel said if these would be coming with accessories? I know not all of them make sense with accessories, but as Batman makes more sense with a Batarang, some of these would too.
Adam Strange's ray gun
Weather Wizards weather control rod
Qward Weaponer thunderbolt
etc.

I kind of like the Adam Strange but these are terrible figures. They look like bootlegs of 90's Toybiz figures repainted to look like DC figures.
I'm not sure why they didn't just scale down the DCUC figures like they did with the new Dark Knight figures, that works great.
I think the folks who claim to like these are: easily pleased, fooling themselves because the figures are DC characters or drunk.

He is listed as Qwardian Warrior, not weaponer.
Not sure if this is a mistake or an actual point of difference, but there you go.

Hey now...I'm drunk and even I don't like 'em. Please don't make generalizations like that
And I don't think I've ever heard of Qwardian warriors. All I've ever heard of were Weaponers, Weapons-Lord, and Thunderers.
I'm sure SD will pop in with 15 covers saying Qwardian 'warrior' though...

...and Dominators!
Actually, I'm really hoping for Dominators and Khuns! The old Invasion mini-series is coming out in tpb soon!

Hmmm... the Manhunter Robots make cool army builders which makes the line more tempting. Now if there was a real Green Lantern coming for them to face off against...

Hmmm. That's a real good question for the next Q&A!
Green Arrow is shown with his bow in the pic on pg 6 with GL and Canary....
