To be honest, I really don't see the point. TG might listen, but the retail team are the ones that need to pay attention. And I think they've made it patently clear that they couldn't care less what we think.

All the more reason to speak up about it. The people who cancelled Star Trek didn't care either......

Star Trek has movies going for it. I really wonder how many more action figure lines we are going to get that aren't movie or TV tie-ins. Batman seems to be the only evergreen line these days.

I worry about MU surviving much longer.

That's the problem with superhero movie success. It drives the toy sales, because almost nobody reads comics anymore. So instead of Metallo, Maxima, Eradicator, Toyman, and Doomsday in DCUC (or 3.75 scale), we get dayglo Supermen with a few equally useless Zods and almost nobody else. How cool would a Superman DCUC subline have been a la the Green Lantern wave?

But none of those characters was in the movies so no go. And even the movie characters are subpar. There were some awesome armors in IM3 which should have gotten the deluxe treatment. Instead we got 5 POA and crappy, goofy add-ones instead of friggin' knees and elbows!

I was looking forward to the Thor line, but I doubt I'll pick up any.

1. Star Trek has movies NOW, but it had one woman who would not give up then, Bjo Trimble. I have actually met her and helped on her last volume of the Concordance, none of which would have happened if those idiots at NBC had not had their noses rubbed in their mistake.

2. The first poll I put up was asking if fans thought Mattel should have done a Faora figure in 1/18 scale. Hmmmmm, last time I checked, Faora is still in the movie.

3. The other poll is about Harley/Ivy. Both have been animated more than once, Ivy was in a movie, and Harley was on Birds of Prey. Had that series continued I think we might have even got the costume. We sort of did but there was room for improvement. Anyway, both are more popular than half of Batman's Rogues Gallery.

I mean, its not like I am asking for a figure of Joan Collin's Siren from the 60's TV series.

Which reminds me. When I was at Target I saw an Imaginext Harley. THAT'S JUST NOT FAIR!

So I take it from the SDCC threads on the Mattel board that there's no hope of a decent 3.75" line from Mattel this year? I'm not surprised; just sad.

The only decent 3.75" lines are from DCC now.
It doesn't look like they have anything new either.

We'll have to wait until SDCC to see what else is coming.

I would use the word decent- very loosely--- only in the sense that they are 3.75" scale and they exist. - other than that the negatives far outweigh the positives with those lines..

Painting, Durability, Character Choice (really-- Injustice versions), and Price being the tip of that iceberg..

THIS. This, this, this, this. How I waited for a 3.75" Harley, and she's unrecognizable.

FWIW, I wouldn't cry over New 52 costumes, even though they're not my preference. But Injustice... really?

Hat trick. This is what I get from posting on my mom's DSL instead of my good cable. Sorry again, folks.

(I'm secretly trying to catch up with Mudd.)

Pardon my ignorance, but I'm not sure which thread you're referring. I did a scan of the boards and it seems pretty cryptic. Am I missing something? Thanks!

Probably referring to Mattel.com, the ultimate site in all of the cosmos for finding out what Mattel can't do.
