I know I am.

If Mattel is smart (insert joke), they will get on this freight train toot sweet.

How about a Robin/Superboy two pack. Or a Gotham/Gotham Girl two pack.

Could be some fun stuff.

Any new DCUC is fine by me, but hopefully they'll be smart and sneak in a good few true classics among the assortments.

Here's a crazy one, Rebirth Titans box set. Wally, Dick, Donna, Roy and Garth in their new costumes.

This, plus a classics Perez version of these characters in an alternate box set.... Re-do of kid flash on the older teen body, Donna Troy in her star field outfit, Dick in his first Nightwing costume, Roy in his Speedy outfit and Garth in the classic red and white suit.

My guess would be that if DCUC style figures make a comeback, it won't be "classics" or Super Powers/Friends. It'll be straight up Rebirth.

Of course it still remains to be seen if Mattel will re-enter the comic accurate segment of the market past a few Multiverse figures. We're a month out of SDCC. Maybe we'll get some news then.

Yes. Mostly because the DCDirect icons line is too expensive. I'd be most interested in holes left in the old series like Vixen, but I understand the need for the main characters to be revisited.

It's actually a little tough to tell what's going on.

The SDCC exclusives come out and there's nothing comic accurate in six inch scale. The old DCU branding gets dusted off for a 3.75 inch figure and the Joker/Panda movie two pack comes out with it's out separate packaging (not Multiverse).

Circumstantial evidence to be sure, but it seems like something has shifted.

Both are Multiverse. Check the package photos on Matty...

In the first photo you can see it above the Suicide Squad logo inside the flap and in the fourth and fifth photos you can see it at the top of the outer slip-cover box on each side of the spine.

On the Wonder Woman set in the third photo you can see the logo on the spine of the box at the top edge in a red trapezoid and in the fifth photo the logo can be seen taking up almost the entire top edge of the box.

I wish Mattel would pick up the ball again because DC Direct isn't doing it for me.
