I got wave 19 from Mr. Mike S so it's picture time.
The whole assortment:
Comparison shots of Al with the DC Direct version:
The "Atoms Family" (Har! I crack me up):
Mattel Sandman side by side with DC Direct Sandman:
Again, a Mattel/DCD comparsion, this time of Carter:
Carter/Katar/Carter:
"Stars My Destination":
Okay, this is fun. Mattel just releases a Golden Age Batman in the Batman Legacy line. Here's a few shots with the TRU exclusive Batman:
And a few pics with DC Direct's Golden Age Batman:
And the World's Finest:
The Modern Age JSA:
The Golden Age:
Same team with a few DCD's mixed in:
Mike (And that's it! Golden Age Flash is coming. We'll probably get a Golden Age Superman and Wonder Woman somewhere down the line. I have serious doubts about E2 Robin, Huntress, Original Star Spangled Kid, Johnny Thunder, Mr. Terrific, Golden Age Red Tornado and Hawkgirl. I hate to be a downer, but I just don't see it.)

My first exposure to JSA was the team up where the 4 black balls turned 4 people into super criminals that beat the JSA and Tbolt. Then Johnny sends Tbolt to bring back 'some' JLA'ers, and he gets 4. Johnny asks why only 4 and Tbolt says "You said some. To me, some means 4." That was the first time I ever thought about words like some or several having an actual numerical definition. Amazing what you can learn from a comic book.

Thanks for the pictures. It's always great to see the various interpretations of these characters side-by-side. Specially with scales sometimes being inconsistent.
