That is a relatively new release. It first popped up on ebay a month or so back.

YES!!! I found it at a target in Wisconsin. They only had two. This is also the problem. they do not stock a lot of them. it was $16

I promised more pics of my DC Imaginext Collection, but it is so hard to get everything together. My 2 year old has this stuff scattered everywhere. My plan was to break out each DC character with all of their items, but I realize now that this will never happen. It took me 2 hours to sort through the collection (only about 25% of our Imaginext is DC related), so here it is...

One more thing I wanted to post. I bit the bullet, and purchased the generic Red Rescue Helicopter...which Kohl's used to sell (maybe they still do). Anyways, I could never find it in the store...so I paid a hefty price for it on Amazon. It's really sweet!! There is an "R" on the side that resembles Robin's logo, and the kids think it's really Robin's. My 2 year old puts Robin in this Chopper and then grabs the blue Batman version. It also came with 2 red guys with "R" logos on there chests. I guess they can be Robin's buds...

Found it today at Kohls. It was $16.99 but 40% off so i got it for $11.99. To the Easter Basket for my twin 3 1/2 year olds.

I did not know that there were two different versions of the Riddler Car. I did know that there were two different versions of The Riddler, one with hat, one without.

Not quite sure what to make of the DC Super Friends line at this point. It seems that some new product trickled out into the retail stores then once those few pieces were gone that was it. I was lucky enough to snag the Batman with Jetpack (have not seen one since in stores), the Joker Tank (which are just now appearing more) the Batman Exosuit with Riddler Rover (TRU exclusive - have only seen one other set since buying my own) the Batman Exploration Pod (TRU exclusive - have only seen the one I purchased) Batman ATV (Walmart exlcusive - have only seen the one I purchased) and the Green Lantern Rover (Walmart exclusive - only saw one when I bought my Batman with ATV). I make my rounds to quite a few stores on a weekly basis and all I see are the older releases of product on store shelves. Also, the Fisher Price website has not been updated to show any of the new product. So what gives? Just trying to get an idea of what is out there in your areas, since honestly I am begining to wonder why this line is having an issue with getting product to the shelves.

Yeah...it's hard to find things in the store, but all of these items show up on Ebay all the time. I think scalpers are buying this stuff up, and reselling for profit. I have been lucky to find most of the new stuff in stores, but even I have had to go to Ebay to purchase a couple items. So I am guilty of contributing to the Ebay madness.

I think the rarest item thus far (this year) is the new Batman with Jetpack. Hopefully it will show up on the shelfs for everyone.

Tip for Everyone Looking - The new Batman ATV and the Riddler Rover...look at the Easter Section at Walmart. I think they are selling them as Easter basket toys.

For those of you new to FP Imaginext ....

They will release a NEW item and it will disappear instantly. Then it will be gone for a few months or so and cases will start getting refreshed and reshipped and said hot item that no one can find will be EVERYWHERE and easily available for anyone who wants one.

Patience is the key to collecting these lines.

I offer up Catwoman and Clayface as evidence, and before them everyone was up in arms about not being able to find Riddler and Two-Face and look at all those figures now ... on every single peg in every single store that carries the line...

The only piece that seems to have come and gone with very limited release was the Robin jet that was a TRU exclusive. Every other piece in the line has made it back into rotation more than once in the lifespan of this line.

relax. You will get it. Easily. At retail. In time.





But yeah ... when I see a pic of a new release for the Super Friends line I WANT IT yesterday, so I feel ya.

Like bo said, these are Easter items, stocked in the Easter section. Once they're gone, that's probably going to be it for those two.
