Nice, would love to see what else you got going.. was thinking of doing the same for the space rover if I could find it cheap enough. Here is something else I am working on.. remaking the logo's from the Lego Joker Ice Cream van to fit the imgx one I have not redone the side logo's yet but this is the mockup of the crappy image of how it will look when done..

Looks like the Toys R Us's in the OKC area are restocking some of the hard to find stuff. Got the Batman Explorer Pod and the Robot with Riddler Rover 2-pack this weekend.

Well, we get no news of any upcoming releases for Imaginext at SDCC. I have been looking at Walmart for the new Mr. Freeze Headquarters exclusive with no luck whatsoever. Anyone with a connection to Walmart have any clue as to when this will hit shelves? I contacted Fisher Price regarding the Mr. Freeze set and was told that although it is shown on their website that it may not hit stores for 4 to 6 weeks. Also, has anyone spotted the Cyborg figure with ATV or the Batman with Rover that was pictured in the Toys R Us paper a couple of weeks ago? Have not seen anything in this area and when I showed the paper to someone at TRU they said that usually their selection varies and that they cannot guarantee what product they will have. At this point any help would be greatly appreciated.

So NO Comic Con news, NO Mr. Freeze set updates, NO Cyborg figure updates, NO Aquaman figure updates.....WHAT ARE THEY WAITING ON! The most anticipated movie of the summer and the number one merchandising property hits tomorrow. What better time to bring in these products. I know TRU has all of that rehash Gotham City stuff, but I want the new stuff. I want updates. I want more villians, more heroes, more female characters, the molded sculpts. Lets just say I want it all! Now gimme, gimme, gimme

I've said it before and I'll say it again.
The key to this line (and really, any line by Fisher Price) is patience. They are a very slow moving machine. Product introduction happens, then sits, lingers, gets refreshed, and then, finally, new stuff gets announced. We wait for it, eventually find it, complain here about the wait time between new items and the cycle begins anew.
Jim has already given us the best insider guess that the Mr. Freeze playset won't start hitting until the fall resets happen sometime mid- to late- August.
I suspect the Cyborg and Aquaman figures will likewise be the same. Chances are, many of us won't see them until the Christmas resets, have a hard time beating scalpers to the punch, only to find everything clogging the aisles come next Feb/March.
Patience.
I want all the new figures as well. Don't really need all the repaints (although I am glad they are out there, done smartly, to help keep the line going inbetween new offerings). But I'm content to know that a few new items are on their way.
Eventually.
And I'll be ready for when they finally do hit.
Patience.

Nothing's ever impossible to find, so I don't have to stress about it and pay scalpers and all that crap. If I wait long enough, Fisher Price will get it to me, on store shelves, where I can happen across it and get a pleasant thrill of discovery. Worst case scenario, I can order it from their website and have it shipped to my door. It boggles my mind that Fisher Price can do this, but Mattel proper can't.

So while I am waiting on the new imaginext to arrive, I started to think about what I really want to see in the future for this line. I understand we will see some re-hashing of old product with some new paint, but what about the new stuff. Here is what I would love to find. It may not be my top 10 list, because I did try to be realliistic about my choices. You guys feel free to chime in. What better way to pass the time waiting on new product, then to wish for more new product...right?
* Wonder Woman (w/lasso of truth)/Cheettah 2-pack * Metallo w/ interchangable arm weapons * Plasticman w/ stretch parts or interchangable parts * Yellow Lantern Sinestro w/construct weapons * Lex Luthor w/ battle robot suit (in scale with Clayface) or Lex in battle armor w/ weapons * Gorilla Grodd * The Hall of Justice playset w/ Martian Manhunter & Green Arrow * The Hall of Doom playset w/ Black Manta & Bizarro * Arkham Assylum playset w/ Black Mask & Poison Ivy * Haunted House playset w/ Scarecrow & Batman * Harley's Monster Truck w/ Harley Quinn
Yes, I know I left out a lot of other choices. So chime in and let us know what you guys want for this line as well.

I was out the other day dropping off some old items for donation at a local thrift store when my son was asking if we could look to see what they had in the store. So we went in and of course he made a bee line for the toy area. After looking through the toys we spotted this little gem... Checked the price tag and it was only $5!!! Of course we snapped that up, now I just need to figure out what I am going to do with it. I was trying to figure out how I can customize it for DC Super Friends.

That would make a great castle for the League of Shadows!
With a little darker pain, it could make a descent Arkham Asylum. But I think the League and their followers would need a home first.

Or you can always switch Comic companies-- you can probably turn that into a great Castle Doom..
