I recently finished a Hall of Justice play set for the ImagiNext Super Friends characters to hang out in:

I know it's not 100% historically accurate...I added some stuff to make it more fun for my daughter to play with (3 rooms, an elevator) but I tried to keep it in the spirit of the HoJ for the most part.

To give credit, I was inspired by what I saw someone else do:
http://www.gbfans.com/community/viewtop ... =7&t=10769
and I 'borrowed' his artwork on the TV set/panel. The other wall artwork was copy/pasted from the Super Friends TV show.

Unlike his which is wood, mine is made of cardboard, as I don't have wood carving skills or tools. I won't lie, it took me a while to finish.

I made the TV so that I could insert different slides. The elevator goes up 3 floors, and there is a sliding window on the blue wall so flying Super Friends can fly out when they're in a hurry (like I've seen on the TV show.)

That Hall of Justice is sweet! Major props to you on that. Hope someone at FP looks at that and moves beyond the Batcave and gives us something close to what you achieved. Well done.

I'm very impressed. The Hall looks Awesome. Great job man !
I love the openness as well. How long did it take you to do?
I agree with puckace. That is DEFINITLY something Fisher Price should look into.
Great job and respect.

That Hall of Justice is GREAT!!!

I must have been in the right place at the right time for once. Yesterday at my Target I found one each of Harley/Joker, Hawkman/Flash, Supes/Wonder Woman and Aquaman with his shark. Would have been sweet to take them home to a Hall like yours!

If only Mattel or Fisher Price would release something like the old Mego Fortress of Solitude which really was a "Hall of Justice" play set.

Thanks for all the compliments.

It's hard to quantify how long it took me. I think I first started in February. I would work 2-3 nights a week on it, but usually would only spend an hour or less. I didn't expect it would take me several months as it did, but each little piece would sometimes take me days, or weeks. It was a labor of love, though.

Cardboard or not, it looks great. Lots of creativity and love went into that.

I like the module aspect of that Mego piece. Add a piece with each figure and let us collect our own. Personally, I'd like to see a HOJ closer to the Kenner model in the ImagiNext scale. The Kenner HoJ had a nice elevator, trap door, jail cell, figure storage, and doors. It was awesome. Add a red spinning ImagiNext action disc and it could work as well as redoing the Batcave again.

SuperFred, nice job on your custom HoJ. Looks like it will be worlds of fun for your kids.

Great job on that Hall of Justice SuperFred!!! That looks awesome, I'm sure the kids have a terrific time playing with it too.

I finally got some time to finish a couple customs that I had been working on. One is just more of a repaint while the other just kept getting pushed back for other projects. So here they are, let me know what you guys think.

Green Arrow

Image

Imaginext Archer (repaint)
Bow and Arrow (not sure if it came from early Imaginext or Playmobil)

Poison Ivy

Catwoman (Body, arms and legs)
Winx Club Bloom (Head)
