Thanks. I think I'l dive in with one or two sets and see how much of a fun factor I get out of them. What I liked about them is that these are toys not "adult collectibles" (a line on DCUC product that always bothered me)

4-L.O.T.T., I think the biggest problem you'll have with the line is the absolute lack of information that comes from FP on these things. Mattel usually mentions an item or two at SDCC during the presentation but most of the info comes from people stumbling across listings at online stores or FP's website or just finding new product on the shelves. The second problem will probably be character selection. Granted we've gotten a lot of new characters in the last two years (this batch of Target exclusives is amazing compared to what's been out there) but the line really does revolve around Batman and his villains and it's probably going to go right back to that after this batch of Target JL goodness.

I'm approaching these in the same way as I look at my DC lego minifigs. I love that we're getting Flash to go with Supes and Wonder Woman and I'm still a firm believer that GL will be in at least one other set but the fun factor comes from having them "interact" with other cool non DC minifigs. I just saw that FP has started with blind bag Imaginext figures many of which look great (the secret agent has promise) I can see the play/display possibilities in combining these with the DC figs. Hopefully FP will follow Lego and Playmobile and continue to produce more series of these.

Yeah. About a month or so back.

There is an upcoming set that will include a Batman cycle (maybe a car I forget, sorry), a riddler dragster, and the Flash figure. Nice "race" themed set.

I'm hoping to see the set released with the upcoming seasonal items. I haven't seen it in the catalog, nor on the websites, so I'm fearful it won't hit until early next year.

So, I made an imaginext zombie. I'm really hoping to see more monsters in the blind bag line (which will hopefully continue!)

I'm definitely counting on more superhero figures. Nice to see more Batman family figures (Nightwing, Batgirl, Poison Ivy...)

To be fair, shipping is free. Everyone knows The USPS is in financial trouble and is wanting to raise shipping costs. Maybe he is being proactive on the shipping front.

I haven't found the Brainiac single fig yet. Being that his packaging says "DC Super Friends" that should mean he won't be exclusive to any store. If he was Target only he'd be labeled "Justice League". I've been saying it for a while now, but my guess is he will pop at Walmart or Toys R Us first since the Superman figure packs and sets have appeared there first.

I'll be sure to post when/where as soon as I find him.

Rick

I'll be honest though, I'm having a tough time getting past the preschool aspect (please don't judge me) I'm right on the fence and would love some convincing.

No judging here...I'm into this line BIG TIME (shhh...I'm 43 yrs old, don't tell anyone...haha!).

Seriously though...it is a fun line to collect. My 4 year old loves it and my 1 year old is spending lots of time with them already (stealing them from his big brother!).

I have the entire collection (just missing a couple of pieces). On top of having everything still mint-in-box, I also buy doubles of all the figures to display them on my computer desk!! So, yeah, I really love this toyline.

I'm working on a comprehensive 'guide' to all things DC Imaginext. Hopefully I can post some results soon.....

PS: @UKIMAGINEXTFAN -- I saw that 'lazarus pit' drawing a while ago. Pretty cool!
