Matty just added figure stands to their store. $12 will get you 25 stands each with the appropriate brand logo on the stand. I think I'll definitely be getting these. :D http://www.mattycollector.com/store/mat ... ayHomePage

Ok, here I go, I'm gonna sound like a whiner....BUT...had Mattel not skimped on the plastic for the figures in the first place, we wouldn't have to spend upwards of $50 to display them. So basically they made money by selling us figures made of cheap plastic, and now they're gonna make more money by fixing their mistake. It's crummy, but I'll bite, cause I'm sick of being attacked by suicidal Super Heroes in the middle of the night.

Hopefully this will fix what has become part of my morning routine:
Get to work, turn on lights, turn on computer, put whichever JLU figures fell over during the night back up.

I use sticky tac to keep em up and I don't really have any problems with toppling toys. Plus I think that the stands might limit some of the displaying options (can't have Hawkgirl and/or Vixen standing close to GL if they are in stands). But these are pretty cool.

As I said in another thread:
The stand price is not outrageous compared to what some companies charge for similar stands (could be $1 a piece). Less than 50 cents each is good, but not great. Personally, I'd rather pay $.50 more per figure for stronger plastic and then only need to purchase stands for those who are really top-heavy. It's great that Mattel is offering these at all though!

Most of the male characters don't have holes in their foot for the stand's peg. Are we supposed to drill the holes ourselves?

MrTheFrog, I see what you're saying, but I think if they had been made of stronger plastic to begin with, they would probably have cost more too. In the end, we're probably breaking even.

The stands have slots for the whole foot to fit in, plus one peg.

These are great. I just wish that they would make flight stands. DCUC BEGS for flight stands and I hate having to buy them from some guy in China.

I am torn. Should I get two boxes of JLU (I haven't displayed JLU in a looooong time because I got tired of them falling) or 1 box JLU and 1 box of DCUC, which doesn't really need them because they stand well on their own (at least until put them on their permanent shelf home, which looks straight, but *ahem* isn't *perfectly* straight).

I think I will wait for the Adam Strange & Starfire Set to order stand and save on shipping.

That's what I'm going to do, as long as they don't sell out we are in good shape.
