Finally a MOTU figure that will cost more these days than it's vintage counterpart.
Peace,
Chip

I'm very curious to see how he looks, up till now all the figures have been VERY close to their original looks, even the 200X figures were very similar to the original looks for the characters we have received so far, except for Zodak. Webstor was very different when his mini-statue turned up, I'm very interested to see which version the Horsemen draw from. I would tend to think they'll stick with the classic look, but I do hope the new one is as menacing facially as the mini-statue, as the original Webstor's face seems kind of.....cheerful. at least to me, he's always appeared to have a huge grin.

But he came with a grappling hook-- and my brother bought any figure from any show that came with a grappling hook-- how can he not sell

Yeah, be interesting to see which way they go. That will probably set the tone for future figures as well. Do they stick with the classics or go with some of the cooler updated versions.

I'm glad that it seems the releases will be less predictable now, it makes it more exciting wondering who's next? I hope that we start seeing some Horde members now that Hordak's on his way, as well as Snake Men. I know we will sooner or later, but I think it'd be cool if each sub-team had at least one member out, so we can watch them build over time. Although I must admit I like the 200X design for King Hsss' human side more than the original, it just seems more regal and imposing.

I hope it's not, but it could be as simple as Skeletor's body with a new head and armor.

According to a poster on He-Man.org, he is very much the classic Webstor in that he has two arms and legs, no mini-limbs like the mini-statue, he also apparently includes his orange gun and working grappling hook, at least from what they say they showed in the photos, but then again this could be total BS until someone sees it and can confirm it. I know nothing of the poster so I don't mean to impugn his reputation, I just have nothing to go on but their word until I see it for myself.

I've seen the figure. He has four extra limbs on the back that are removable. They're not as long as the staction limbs, and they all end in points - so none are able to hold a weapon. For the most part, he looks like the classic figure with the working grappling hook backpack, but his head has some 200x influences. His pointy ears or more defined, like the staction, and he also has two sets of smaller eyes in addition to his regular large set of eyes - like the 200x design. The original figure only had one extra set of smaller eyes.
As a 200x fan, I'm happy with the way he looks. I think most classic fans will be too. Body wise, he's pretty much a straight-up Skeletor repaint, though the right hand might be a little different - it looks like it can hold a weapon. I imagine that they'll use the same removable extra limbs for Buzz-Off, when he comes around.

NICE! I can't wait to get him! And I really like the removable extra limbs - should make both the classic and 200x fans happy!
