I love guessing games...and freely admite that I am RARELY correct, but let's see who can guess the most correct characters in the new DCUC Toyfare poll.

I feel it's easiest to narrow it down by 2 criteria:

1. Probably more 2nd or 3rd string type character, but popular enough to sell at retail.

2. Minimal tooling...ie, no Shaggy Man or Mogo.

I will even guess we will probably once again see 4 male and 2 female characters...

My guesses:

1. Ambush Bug (Maybe more appropriate for MattyCollector but definatly minimal tooling!)

2. Batwoman (Essentially the Barbara Gordan Batgirl body)

3. Obsidian (Easy sculpt and we saw what appeared to be turn around art, plus JSA member)

4. Animal Man (Mr. Terrific's jacket could come in handy...)

5. Ragdoll (We have Deadshot...Catman made the poll last time...clearly the Secret 6 have influence)

6. Fire (Fan favorite who could be in either flame mode or costume mode)

I like guessing games myself, it's amazing seeing someone you guess get made makes you fill like you should be the one who's in charge of figures get made(even if thats how everyone fills)

I think it will be more Fan-Fav then before

I think Batwoman's a bad guess. Her name is BATWOMAN. She'll show up at retail (or in an exclusive two-pack as an anchor) without the help of a poll. The characters in the poll need to be less marketable, I think.

Dr. Light (Kimiyo Hoshi; repaint with new cape/head)

Prometheus (new head, cape, and minimal additions)

Red Arrow (new head, belt buckle)

I would just like to see different groups/characters represented such as:

Flash Villain (Heat Wave, Capt. Boomerang, Mirror Master, Zoom or Weather Wizard)

Titan (Tempest, Jericho, Terra, Arsenal, Red Star, Miss Martian, Damage)

Legion character (Ultra Boy, Phantom Girl, Chameleon, Bouncing Boy, Triplicate Girl) not one we know they will make first off etc

JLA villain (Key, Queen Bee, Prometheus, Royal Flush Gang member, Felix Faust, Neron)

Random character (Waverider, The Ray, Creeper, Monarch, Major Force, Killer Frost)

C&C characters (Trigon, Spectre, Elasti-Girl, Mammoth, Monsieur Mallah & the Brain)

Boots

First, I have to give Mattel credit - it's not like there last idiot list with Huntress and Question on it (not much of a contest), so this time they gave us a better selection of characters at a more obscure levels, but...

That list is really disheartening. At least half those figures should be coming already...

Well this looks like Toyman has already won. Kind of a bad list as far as I'm concerned.

I thought they said, "The next poll will run during SDCC on Wizarduniverse.com and will be announced in the next issue of Toy Fare magazine."

How did Toyman "win" or or is that speculation.

That was speculation. Besides Raven and maybe Captain Marvel Jr. I don't see any competition for him. I don't even know who the others are.

I don't know, I think it's going to actually be pretty tight between Toyman and Raven. There's a lot of nostalgia and reverence out there for the Wolfman/Perez Titans, and Raven's got a pretty big fanbase anyway. I could see it going either way.

I'm actually surprised to see Toyman on the list. He's a guaranteed play pattern for a Superman-anchored wave, especially when they finally release that classic Superman without the heat vision eyes. I don't see why you'd risk relegating him to a non-Supes wave.

Don't know what Libra's doing on this list. The old Justice League issue that introduced him was pretty great, but we're past Final Crisis hype. That villain spot could've been given to a Flash Rogue or Suicide Squad member. Geo-Force and Uncle Sam are reliable standbys, probably not exciting or left-field enough for the list, but the only one that really puzzles me here is Libra.

According to the thread on Fwoosh, the versions in Toyfare pretty much match these images, except Uncle Sam is in his modern look, and the only skin you can see on Raven is her face.

I'll buy them all, but my preference would be Raven or Geo-Force. Geo-Force is an easy variant with his green/yellow and modern look, and Raven is easy too. Paint her skin red and give her a different head with four evil eyes. And do Trigon as the C&C if Raven is in the wave:
