That may have been a bit of hyperbole on my part, but I think you get the gist.

I like the idea of an all female bracket, or perhaps two - one for the good girls and one for the bad... Just make sure Tina and Copper from the Metal Men are in the mix...

Let me get this straight. You want Black Orchard, a flash in the pan late 70's character, before a founding member of the JSA whose been around for over 60 years? I'd take Huntress, Mera, and Poison Ivy first. That's it.

I guess for me, I'd want the female characters that haven't been made yet. Especially given their track record on this. Variants or alternate costumes should come AFTER the new characters.
1. Huntress 2. Vixen 3. Poison Ivy 4. Elastigirl 5. Mera 6. Liberty Belle 7. Oracle 8. Phantom Lady 9. Fire 10. Ice 11. Jade 12. Wonder Girl (Cassie)
And only the first three would rank higher than Jay Garrick for me (I knew there was another I forgot lol). I just wouldn't want to risk that I might never see some of the new characters because they spent one of the few slots they DO use on females on an alternate costume. I wouldn't mind the rest on Fly's list, but they wouldn't be priorities over any of the ones above. Just my two cents.

Huntress and Poison Ivy are the only two above Jay for me. I think we're all forgetting another glaring speedster omission though. I think you could argue that Wally is more of a missing figure in this line than even Jay.

Wow. I love that my seemingly innocuous statement got some good dialogue going. I really love Ryan's list of lovely ladies (don't act like you don't love alliteration). My list almost mirrors his, only subbing in a few ladies that haven't been done yet, and leaving most of the costume variations for later. In order:
1 Huntress (modern) 2 Vixen 3 Poison Ivy (classic) 4 Dawnstar 5 Mera 6 Phantom Lady 7 Oracle 8 Jade 9 Liberty Belle 10 Dove (Dawn Granger) 11 Hawk (Holly Granger) 12 Steel (Natasha Irons) 13 Zatanna (Perez costume) 14 Fire 15 Ice 16 Arisia 17 Lady Blackhawk 18 Phantom Girl 19 Roulette 20 Supergirl (Bronze Age) 21 Dream Girl 22 Catwoman (Silver Age) 23 Elasti-girl 24 Granny Goodness 25 Triplicate Girl
I would really only want the top 5 before we got to Jay though.
