I don't have Skeletor yet but don't want to pick up this pack to get one; no interest in the Mo-Larr figure.

There's always the TRU Skeletor vs Lex Luthor pack. If you don't mind another Lex. They should have tons of them at your TRU. Well, I know that there's tons of them at mine.

I'm kind of on the fence about the 18th. Don't need Evil-lyn, pass on Vikor but I might get some palace guards and some stands.

I'm just getting my sub stuff as of now.

Are the guards in the sub?

No. They were intended for last year and got delayed. Legally Mattel can only include in the sub what was announced before the sub went on sale.

Cool, I'll probably wait on them, then.

They're alright, but not a must have for me.

I need Evil-lynn and I'll probably get some stands . . . if they don't sell out in lightning speed like they did last time.

The TRU in the Bronx recently raised the price on those two-packs to $40.99.

Who are they kidding? Those two-packs weren't selling before; I don't know how a $9 price increase is gonna move them any faster.

That's pure insanity. These need to be clearanced out, like yesterday. And I actually love those packs (I have both), and I'll be getting all the new ones that are slated for release, assuming they ever see the light of day. I got the biggest chuckle out of seeing scalpers get stuck with tons of those, when these packs first came out. They banked on Mattel and TRU's sporadic distribution, and collectors' inability to exhibit patience. Now they're literally falling off the pegs due to surplus, and there's zero secondary market for them. Well, maybe except for international collectors who don't have a TRU.

It is insanity! It's the Bronx! How much money does TRU think Bronx residents have to spend on collectible toys?

I like the two-packs too, especially with the Supes/He-Man crossover comics.

I saw the new two-packs, Aquaman/Mer-Man and Hawkman/Stratos, at the TRU in Times Square the other day. But it was post-Christmas and the store was a chaotic mess, so I could find the price sticker.

The packaging is really great. I love the face-off between the two figures. But the new sets get a poster, not a comic. And at the end of the day, it's a lot to spend on two figures I already have.

So the Mattel site on facebook said they revealed Catra in today's toyfare. I'm not a completist with this line, I'm really just getting the ones I had as a kid, or were favorites as a kid. I've never been able to order these day-of-sale except for the first He-Man and Skeletor releases. Ever since then, I've had to go to the secondary market to pick up what I want. Having said all that, I have a question or two. Anyone have or know of good folks/sites to buy these figs from that won't price gouge the crap out of you? I need trap-jaw, Hordak, Adora and tri-klops- in that order. Prolly need to find a way to pick up Bow and Catra too, my daughter loves the She-Ra show. Any ideas, help and advice is welcome.

The more recent MOTUC stuff you can get from this guy for a good price:

http://toys.shop.ebay.com/Action-Figure ... 11.c0.m282

I don't know how he makes any money, because his prices are really reasonable, and most times barely over retail. There's even the best offer option, which can bring the prices down even further. Even his pre-orders are fairly priced. He apparently has well over 10 subscriptions. I've purchased from him several times before, and even recommended him to other members here. Just keep in mind, THIS IS NOT MY EBAY STORE, and I don't know this person/entity personally. It's just my recommendation based on your desire to find a good deal. I hope this helps.

Those prices are quite reasonable, really. Sigh. I'm NOT going to get into another line, especially with Digital River. I'm NOT, I'm NOT...
