Welcome to the Freedom Fighters / Infinity, Inc "Selection & Seeding" Regional portion of the 2010 AFi Fan Bracket for DCUC. Think of this as the "prologue" to the actual bracket event.

We did our best to include all relevant characters; however there may be a few missing that we just couldn't fit in (I'm looking at you, Stuff the Chinatown Kid). So don't be upset if your favorite isn't included.

The last Bracket was a lot of fun, but we're doing things a little different this time. This first round of voting will determine 1) the characters choices, and 2) the seeding order entered into the actual bracket. We have 40 characters, and only 32 spots - so we need you to decide who is worthy of making the cut. In addition, your votes will also determine the order of the match-ups. This gives Mattel a much more accurate count of who are the most-wanted characters for DCUC.

Example:
Let's say The Flash is the top vote-getter with 100 votes; he would be the #1 seed in the bracket. And maybe Anna Fortune has the least votes, with 5. She misses the cut at #40. And Tomcat receives 9 votes at the #32 spot; he makes the cut and is paired up against Flash at #1. Just like similar brackets, the #1 vs #32, #2 vs #31, #3 vs #30, #4 vs #29, #5 vs 28, etc etc. Make sense?

Each fan gets to vote for 25 of the 40 characters; only one vote per character (so you cannot vote for Nuklon 25 times). And you only get one chance to vote, so make 'em count! The voting will last for one week, ending next Monday night. The votes will then be counted and organized, and entered into the Freedom Fighters/Infinity Inc Region on the official Fan Bracket. Once all four regions have been organized, then the head-to-head Fan Bracket voting will begin.

Why can I only pick 25??? I WANT THEM ALL! But if I HAD to cut down my choices, I'd go w/ the Golden Age characters first, followed by Infinity Inc., then Ray Terril and Grant Emerson and then the latest round of FFers. BRING 'EM ON!

This has been a lot more fun than I expected. Oh, and Phantom Lady (both versions) for the win!!!

while we're voting, let's also make these figures for DCIH (or whatever Mattel is changing their 3" line to) and JLU!

Well in all honesty, I didn't know who the vast majority of these characters were. So for those I didn't know, I voted for the ones with the coolest looking costumes, and the hot chicks .

Out of this list I'm most excited for Jade, Brainwave Jr., Wildcat, Nuklon, Silver Scarab, and Fury. I love Infinity Inc.; it was the first comic series I read and really collected. I'm also very excited for all of the modern versions of the Freedom Fighters, I love their updated looks.

There should be a none of the above option...although, thanks to the pics I did vote for 3 of them.

Freedom Fighters! It'd be awesome to get classic and modern variants of the Freedom Fighters. Phantom Lady for the win!

This is a weaker bracket b/c a lot of characters on this list I like, but prefer their JSA looks. But this list still has some nice choices with Uncle Sam, Jade, The Ray, and Phantom Lady on top.
