AFi Fan Bracket - Villains Selection & Seeding

Welcome to the Villains "Selection & Seeding" Regional portion of the 2010 AFi Fan Bracket for DCUC. Think of this as the "prologue" to the actual bracket event.

We did our best to include all relevant characters; however there may be a few missing that we just couldn't fit in (I'm looking at you, Captain Nazi). So don't be upset if your favorite isn't included.

The last Bracket was a lot of fun, but we're doing things a little different this time. This first round of voting will determine 1) the characters choices, and 2) the seeding order entered into the actual bracket. We have 40 characters, and only 32 spots - so we need you to decide who is worthy of making the cut. In addition, your votes will also determine the order of the match-ups. This gives Mattel a much more accurate count of who are the most-wanted characters for DCUC.

Example:
Let's say The Flash is the top vote-getter with 100 votes; he would be the #1 seed in the bracket. And maybe Anna Fortune has the least votes, with 5. She misses the cut at #40. And Tomcat receives 9 votes at the #32 spot; he makes the cut and is paired up against Flash at #1. Just like similar brackets, the #1 vs #32, #2 vs #31, #3 vs #30, #4 vs #29, #5 vs 28, etc etc. Make sense?

Each fan gets to vote for 25 of the 40 characters; only one vote per character (so you cannot vote for Nuklon 25 times). And you only get one chance to vote, so make 'em count! The voting will last for one week, ending next Monday night. The votes will then be counted and organized, and entered into the Villains Region on the official Fan Bracket. Once all four regions have been organized, then the head-to-head Fan Bracket voting will begin.

And why oh why must The Spider (Tom Ludlow Hallaway) be retconned into being a villai? Is he STILL retconned as a villain now that TNT and Dan the Dynamite are somehow part of the original 7 Soldiers of Victory? Turn him back to our hero: Alias, the Spider!

Aw come on lol. For people using the pictures as a guide you picked just about the goofiest one available for Sportsmaster! Such a cool gimmick - vote for Sportsmaster! hahahahaha...

That's funny Tex. I couldn't remember much about Sportsmaster, so that picture definitely dissuaded me from voting for him :lol:

Ugh. See that's what I'm talking about. The guy was even on the JLU cartoon AND Batman: Brave and the Bold. So you have the crossover there too. Shame on you Fly! You and your anti-Sportsmaster prejudice! :lol:

Yeah, sorry guys - not many good accurate Sportmaster pics out there. The B&B one is cool, but totally not what the character looked like in the comics. Going for classic-looks on this one. :wink:

Aw yeah! Cyclotron, the real one from the comics! I want that guy made into a figure so bad!

I'm also excited for Barron Blitzkreig, Psycho Pirate, and Wotan. The Dragon King, Kobra, and Johnny Sorrow will look pretty coool in plastic too.
