This three pack has a unifying theme, completes one team set, adds to the Bat-family collection, AND fulfills the Green Lantern-focus for 2011:
Doom Patrol's Chief JLA's Oracle GL's enemy Hector Hammond
Might make for a nice SDCC exclusive or MattyCollector pack
Or add Metron and make it a 4 pack!

Doesn't sound like a very likely pack but I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Wait Oracle as in the retired Batgirl in a wheelchair? I know I get confused since I was away from the comics for so many years!

I give you a lot of credit for the "unifying theme" of that proposed 3-pack, but the packaging for that pack would be akin to a DCUC figure!...and if you add Metron you are talking about packaging bigger than or equal to a JLU 6-pack!
I would rather have a pack with a different unifying theme:
Beast Boy (or Chief), Freddy Freeman, and JG Catman.
Of course that's just the tip of the iceberg...

I know this idea will be just tha; a happy idea (much like my dream of a JLU Royal Flush Gang 6 pack). But in defense of the expensive packaging, may I present the Starro box set as a defense? If they can give us a light up box w/ several sound tracks wired in, I think my 3-packidea could reasonably make a great SDCC exclusive.

Anyway, I would love to buy a JLU Royal Flush Gang 6 pack too

I think 6-packs are a dream now. No retailers seem to want them anymore.

Yeah, I just don't see that pack as ever happening. And honestly, I can't think of too many people who'd really want Hector Hammond at all, let alone before some of the other characters. I'd much prefer the other pack suggested here - Justice Guild Catman, Beast Boy and Captain Marvel Jr.

I think it is an interesting idea. I'm not sure the demand is there as they did not appear on JLU and that seems to be a big determining factor for many collectors of the line.
If we are proposing alternate 3 packs, 1. CSA 3pack: a. CSA Owlman, b. CSA Johnny Quick c. the CSA Power Ring young blonde man who was an analog of Kyle Rayner.
2. Superman Animated Series. a. Jor-El b. Superman c. Maxima

I have ALWAYS Dreamed of a: ROYAL FLUSH 6 pack tooooo! I hate the fact 6 packs were dropped because i think the most excited I was character wise in forever was because of the Secret Society II pk., Legends of the League pk., & Mutiny in the Ranks pk.! I mean 15 Brand NEW Characters out of 18, that is Fan-F######-Tastic!! I Would LOVE to know who Exactly was going to be in the 2 Newest 6pks. I have DREAM 6 & 12 packs I feel would SELL like Crazy if only Mattel would come to their senses, fly me out to headquarters for a presentation on my ideas for not only for JLU, but for Fisher Price & even Barbie! Yep I've got MILLION Dollar Idea$ alright, If only they just asked me! lol.
I can never get over the possibilities of the 6 packs if they remained 5 new characters - to 6 new characters each! I was hoping Ultimen, although maybe wouldn't do well on the market but I would by multiples due to the clones from Cadmus! I could fill Apokolips & Legion Of DOOM 6 pks. many times over! Not to mention the Secret Identities 6 pk. with the core members in their Starcrossed street clothes (-Hawkgirl) would be a great seller to Both collectors & parents! Especially if there was a 6 pk. of the actual Heroes packed in the case for parents to buy in addition to the Identities 6pk. around the Holidays! Mattel, if only you knew the good that could come from using me for ideas....I could make them the #1 Toy company in the World!.....Oh wait a minute.....

Oh, & yeah I would DEF buy a *Catman, Beast Boy, & I would like little Billy Batson solely because I play w/ my JLU figs. w/ my nephews & they would go nuts over Billy being able to transfor into SHAZAM! So Catman/Beast Boy/Billy Batson 3 pk. for me please!

I also think the 6 packs were the greatest thing Mattel has done so far. Yeah, you can't beat 5 or 6 new characters in a pack. Would have been a great way to finish the Apokolips characters (Destroyer Darkseid, Kalibak, Desaad, Steppenwolf, Highfather, Superman) and (Granny, Bernadeth, Mad Harriet, Stompa, Virmin, Kanto), Batman villains (Riddler, Poison Ivy, Firefly, Blockbuster, Killer Croc, Mad Hatter) and (Two Face, Bane, Roxy Rocket, Ventriloquist, Clayface, Hugo Strange) and most importantly finishing off the JLU members (STRIPE, Crimson Avenger, Gypsy, Dr. Midnite, The Creeper, Speedy). The possibilities were endless with these 6 packs. It's a real shame we won't be getting anymore. Hopefully we'll still continue to get a load of new JLU characters without them. Based on the showing this year so far looks like we will though.

Based on the showing this year so far looks like we will though. While I too loved the 6-packs for the notion of getting 5 new characters, they were also a major hassle when your part of the country didn't even get them (Legends of the League, Secret Society II). Instead of missing out on 1 or 2 characters like you do in a normal 3-pack, now you are down by 5 figures (or 10 if you missed both Legends of the League and Secret Society II. If Mattel's distribution (and the distribution of its partners to be fair) improved to the point where you wouldn't miss out on these packs (i.e. have them in ample supply like the Mutiny in the Ranks wave of 6-packs), then I would love to have more 6-packs. TwoFace103, I have often thought of some of the exact same packs as you. Although, your Justice League 6-pack would still leave us 2 members (or three depending on your point of view) short of a "complete" Justice League. Sadly, we would need an additional 3-pack with Thunderbolt, Johnny Thunder, and Longshadow to complete the league. That would probably complete the league unless you count Watchtower civilians, in which case you need an army builder pack as well. Wow, JLU is a never ending pit!
