Depends on your point of view. The last time something looking anything like the HOJ was made was back in the 80's as part of the Super Powers line. That is about 25 years ago. This will be the first time a lot of collectors had the opportunity to get anything HOJ related. We've only seen one picture of it so far. So far it looks pretty good to me. As for a marketing idea, I think it is fantastic. It will convince people who are buying 3/4 of the figures to buy the rest. It will move some people to buy the whole line which were not considering buying the line at all. Both of these will move more product than if the HOJ prop did not exist. If it does well, we might see a CNC Batcave or a CNC Fortress of Solitude. I for one cannot wait for Toy Fair to see the HOJ in all its glory. And I do not care what scale it is in. I'll just pretend it is far in the distance. ** New Episode tonight - 7:00 PM Eastern **

Or a C&C Hall of Doom! Give my villain action figures a home, too! Crap in a hat, we've got 4 batcaves from the 70's (one being a Wayne Foundation Tower), three movie batcaves (one that was rereleased with various paint jobs), one from the 2004 animated series, one for Imaginext, plus various fold-out sets, micro machine sets, and Lego sets. We've had one Justice Cave back in 1966, a Mego Fortress of Solitude in the 70's and the SuperPowers Hall of Justice. And Bandai gave us a Teen Titans Tower.
Let's look at the costumed comic book based evil lairs list: They gave us Dr. Doom's Tower of Doom in 1984 but they axed the Darkseid's Tower of Darkness. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles had the Techno Drome and He-Man (who I include only because of is appearance in DC Comics Presents) had Snake Mountain.
No Hall of Doom?!? No Cadmus lab?!? No HYDRA hideout?!? No Asteroid M?!? If the C&C Hall of Justice is a hit, then I vote we get a bad guys club house!

I wouldn't normally even collect this line but the CnC Hall of Justice has me intrigued just because I wouldn't mind seeing how this would look with my kid's Imaginext line of DC characters.

I would love to finally own a replica of Darkseid's Tower of Darkness.
Or something to that extent.
But I honestly don't think the kids of young justice are going to be sneaking to Apokolips any time soon. Then again, if Secret shows up; all bets are off!

I've been having a marathon of Super Friends episodes with my kids and I started thinking about the Superfriends characters they've done in the JLU line and this Hall of Justice display is going to look cool for some photos I'm planning on taking.

Walmart has started dropping the price on the Imaginext, Batcave $45 and Joker $25.
CCC.
