Yep, these were shown in the presentation at SDCC last year (don't think that they were on display). Really wish they'd made a Hulk/Thing type of body before trying to make Darkseid (would've been great for Solomon Grundy, too... ). The only Retros we knew about but didn't get to see in the slides were two of the GL wave, Kyle and John (didn't even give us the names). Have to wonder if we'll see wave 5 at Toy Fair...

Wow!... if these are hitting already. Series 2 hit not that long ago and only came through once at select TRUs and are long gone now.

I like how with Martian Manhunter, they went back to the basic head sculpts of Series 1 & 2. I think the Series 3 men, particularly The Flash, is just too stylized for what these are supposed to be (Mego styled figures) and for what was already released. I think the stylized heads may be a problem with Captain Marvel and Black Adam.

They can't produce enough of these fast enough. This is a really fun line.

Yeah, I didn't like those either. They looked odd. I think that was the first time I thought a toy was oversculpted.

The TRU stores in New York City are selling the Retro figures for $22.50, which brings entire wave to about $100 with tax. That's a little expensive for me. I might pick and choose at this point.
