There are reports which quote people close to the source which say the series was cancelled due to poor sales of related merchandise. As far as I recall, all I ever saw for merchandise was the Mattel figures and DVDs of the set. And 2 runs of McDonald's Happy Meal toys, one of figures which were IMO better than the Mattel ones and the other of finger skateboards.

Was there any other YJ merchandise?

Not to my Knowledge. But I believe there was more to it than that.

Looking forward to this series returning. Loved that season 2 gave shout outs to the Super friends and included Milestone characters.

As for what I would want from Mattel? Not sure. Maybe a few characters added the the 6" Multiverse line that Mattel has not made yet in DCUC and forward?

Maybe we could get characters like Aqualad, Superboy, Kid Flash and Static added to Imaginext?

The original YJ figure line was terrible.

Not Mattel, but I wonder if POP figures would make a slightly smaller build figure for teen age characters and give us some DC Teen heroes.

Pop already does plenty of "teen" characters, from Harry Potter, to Teen Titans Go, to Robin (and a few other "sidekicks") in the mainline, to ... etc. None of them have ever used a smaller body in comparison to "adult" Pops, can't see them doing it any differently now.

I don't want anything from Mattel. I sincerely hope (if there's a toy line at all) that DC Collectibles gets the license.

I'd be happy if Mattel could get the unissued 6" Superboy, Miss Martian and Guardian into the Multiverse line.

(I would imagine that is Scott was still there and MattyCollector was still limping along that he'd find a way to get that last batch of tooled up figures out...)

Well, between Multiverse and Imaginext, we know Mattel still has the DC license in general. I'd like to see them move in a different direction than the old 3 to 4 inch toy line.

Getting those last 3 6 inch pieces would be nice. And maybe they could be fit into the Multiverse line. Good call.

With the confirmation of the 3rd season finally being picked up,
it isn't far fetched to think that the toy line won't be far behind.

The prototypes that they showed us might finally be in stores.
Shazam
Batgirl two-pack
Red Arrow
Guardian
and the connect a piece Lagoonboy.

I wonder. How many of you are still out there with an
incomplete connect a piece Hall of Justice or Amazo?
I see a repeat with Lagoonboy as well. LOL

I have a complete hall of justice but I would like the figures that they showed but I doubt they will continue the line since they didn't sell that well but I hope I'm wrong.

Since I'm into custom making, and needed fodder, I ended up with
multiples of the same pieces, but not the Vandal pieces to complete
the Hall itself.
I wonder if Lagoon boy comes out will it be more of the same?
Oh well. At least I might get better fodder pieces if they start up again.

I love your optimism. I hope they do something with it. Aside from the hands I liked this line and would love for them to complete the League and more of the YJ team.

1/3 of my YJ customs collection

I just wish they got around to making Wonder Woman.

If the molds still exist for the unreleased figures I could see them maybe making a box set of those for SDCC but I don't see retail wanting to get into the line again. After all this time they'd have to release all of the core characters again to have the line make any sort of sense to retail or the "mom" demographic.

If Mattel does anything I think it would be just to add characters into that $10 12" figure line or go the Mighty Mini route.
