My Wal Mart is having a big blowout sale on these apparently. $1.50 a piece. And the shelves are STILL clogged.

Saw some GL figures at the 99cent store yesterday. I'd never seen these before. I think they were called Shape Shifters. There were two different Hal's and a Tomar Rae. Each figure came with a shape shifting figure. Scorpion, Snake, and Alligator. Cool concept but I left them all.

Nuff said. :)

And yet some people still wonder why the GL: Animated Series toy line isn't going forward. The retailers gave Mattel a collective "NO!" after getting burned big time on the movie toys.

Could it be a regional thing? I went to Walmart yesterday and they were still scanning at $3.48.

Sometimes PLCs aren't a main activation, your Wal-Mart could lack someone working the manager duties of the toy department. Or it could be a regional thing but I've never seen or heard of anything so severe as this before, that's significant clearance price.

Yeah, at a clearance price of $1.50, I would expect someone to go in and snag every last Kilowog and Hannu just for the adaptor pieces.

For $1.50, I would have Yellow Lanterns Sinestro and Romat Ru, Black Lanterns Abin Sur and Romat Ru, White Lantern Sinestro, and a full spectrum set of Hal, plus anyone of those figures made in any color Corps I felt like seeing them in.

They were like that at mine as well--

And with all the Kilowogs and Hannus avaialble_ (I swear it looks like at least an entire 4 foot section of just the basic GL figures)

-- I feel I could put an adaptor on every GL DCUC figure owned by people on this board

I would love to see the 4" figures as cheap as that, here in Brazil, they're on sale here for about US$ 10.00 :?

I really hope to be able to buy Scar and Herupa someday

I would not be so worried about GL movie figures collecting dust in the toy shelves, afecting the release of the Green Lantern animated figures. The same thing happens to every movie line that I can remember. I still can find some Avatar 4" figures in some stores here. To be honest there's a Jurassic Park leftovers in a store next to my house  . Even Movie Masters Batman were everywhere (and the figures are just awesome, not to mention the movie).

Forgot to mention Movie Masters were down to 3.40 as well-- lots of the first 2 waves.

Well, if you couldn't, I'm sure I could find enough here to finish. But it's not just Hannu or Kilowog here. There is a MASSIVE amount of Hal and a bunch of Sinestro too. The Guardian 2 packs are down to I believe $6 too. Or it might have been $3.40. Something GL was $3.40. I wasn't paying that close attention.

I just saw the GL box sets (Salaak, etc.) at Fallas Paredes for $7.99 and the Guardian 2 packs for $3.99. It was only Kilowog and Sinestro, but if they are getting these, who knows what could be next...
