I wonder how strict Mattel is being with the May 1 street date, as in: maybe more stores in more areas have them, but they are honoring the street date by keeping them in back rooms? I'm going to check some other TRU stores in the area to see if they have them out too

Yeah, I guess I'll be checking mine today as well. Keeping my ring-fingers crossed!

I saw 5 of these today at a regional discount store for 5.99.
This place has had the newest wave of Gi Joe, the Refresher cases of MU, and Thor figures, but it usually doesn't carry toys at all except for right before Christmas. I guess it was an easter promotion, but i was surprised when i saw them, along side T2, Avatar, and Ironman II figures.

I read elsewhere that Gabriel Brothers stores are getting these in for $5.99. I'll be in Ohio next weekend for Easter... guess where I'll be shopping?

On the upside, Walmart has had a pricematch guarantee for a long time, but if you are watching TV you may have noticed that they are now aggressively advertising it.

A buddy of mine found these yesterday at Toys R' Us and picked me up a Hal and another Hal and Kilowog for himself.
I don't have mine yet, but he opened his up and sad he really liked him and thought the ring, while only a kid's size is still nicely detailed. That's fine, because I wanted to put one my desk and if it looks good, that works for me.

Awesome. Toy Guru straight-up describes in detail every Green Lantern sku. Check it out: http://forums.mattycollector.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=4831004165&f=2131094575&m=8231000196&r=8211093196#8211093196I'm in for the 4 inch basic figures all the way (where are they?! still looking), a few Battle Shifters, A few Movie Masters, The Toys R Us Construct Pack (Amazing. Love this one), Walmart Exclusive Guardian packs ( 6 in all, must have for me). I'm really surprised there's no life-size light-up Lantern ( like the Light-up Thor movie hammer). It seems like that would be a no-brainer. I was really hoping to get something like that for the kids and halloween costume role-play and also for a home-made Oa playset. Anyway, lots of good stuff. I hope I see them on store shelves some day.
