Can anyone suggest an in scale horse that I could slap a cape on to custom a Comet the Super Horse? I'm also looking for a winged horse for my Marvel Black Knight and another one for Jonah Hex.

Look for some of the deluxe horse and rider Lord of the Rings figures from the early 2000's. They were made to fit figures that were pretty close to the DCUC scale. Toybiz was the company that made them, I believe.

They made a bunch like this:


A buddy of mine used them as a base for Marvel Legend's Black Knight, Valkrie, and Dani Moonstar.

Of course, he had to custom the wings from a few Marvel Legends Angels to do it.

Or you might want to just want and see how the MOTUC Shiftwind for She-ra turns out. We should be seeing pics of it at SDCC this year.

Since the MOTUC figures are slightly overscaled to the DCUC figures, I would think that Swiftwind will be just a tad too big.

I agree that the LOTR horses are probably your best bet, especially if you ant something articulated.

I know Target has a section of figures based on myths and legends. Ive seen alot of horses that are in the scare your looking for

Where did your super pets come from? I assume Beppo is DC Direct. Are Streaky and Krypto also DC Direct?

Yeah, they came in the Silver Age box sets that DC Direct offered several years back.

They were nice pack ins and I wish that DC Direct would offer more items like those in the earlier days...

Maybe this belongs in the DC Direct forum, but oh well I started it here. Once I get some more customizing done this will be perfect.
