While I was stopped at a red light, I happened to see this sticking out of the top of a box so I decided to stop. [url=http://imageshack.us] [/url That's my all time favorite godzilla toy. Even if it is a Chinese knockoff. That makes my fourth one now. Anyway, as I was looking at it, I noticed a ton of (mostly) broken gi joe bodies also in the box and thought I could use them for customs. It was hot and they were ready to quit so I scored the godzilla and the rest of the box for $6.50. Once I get home, I started going through it. Mostly the joes with a lone ranger thrown in. Then I came across this. Always wanted a wonder pig so I was happy. Then I came across these guys. After a bit more digging, this popped out. !!!!!!!!!! To quote Shawshank, "I near soiled myself". I never thought I'd find her. And especially for so little. Unfortunately that's all there was. But hey, it's been a good day.

That's a heck of a score! The kind we all hope to find at yard sales, flea markets, etc. Congrats. And give thanks to Godzilla there too

It's not the best godzilla I have, but once I get him cleaned up, he's going out on display in place of my good 13" one. I think the little guy has more than earned it.

I am going to be the turd in the punch bowl. I would never in ANY circumstance buy a Volcana or other rare action figure from a yard sale. I'm betting that some poor collector's mother sold that behind his back with no idea of what the real value was. As someone who has a mother who has given away or sold toys of mine in the past I would NEVER want to put another person in that position.
Maybe I'm a square, maybe I'm a goodie-two-shoes, but I would march right up to the person doing the yard sale and tell them they needed their head examined. I've felt the pain of rare toy loss personally and I wouldn't wish that on anybody else.

... or the person who had the figures just didn't really care about what they had, hence why it was in the yard sale.
Just because this was bought for a steal at a yard sale does not indicate some shady dealings.
I've sold things at a massive loss just to be rid of them. I've given things away that had no value to me but a ton of worth to someone else.
Congrats on your find. Let this be a moment of enjoyment.

I'm happy with the JLU collectors having luck with finding Volcana. I'm just hoping my lucky day comes soon.

Yes I've done this myself. I have given $50 Japanese Batman figures (more than one) to the American Rescue Workers before. As well as vintage MOTU and Super Powers figures. I've given away toys that I've spent hundreds of dollars on to people that I work with to give to their kids/grandkids. Sometime you just want to be rid of something and be done with it.
