I looked for the new trio GL stuff, no kilowog, but they did have the Atrocitus Battle Cruiser... which I passed on. Trying to stay away from bigger items, or off-shoot characters as much as possible.

It would have been nice if the GL figure Hero World package was in a bright green, instead of red. :?:

Gah! I didn't see the Atrocitus Cruiser! That must have been adorable...

Even the Fisher Price website has no mention of any new items for either the HeroWorld line or the Trio line ...

Bah!

It was pretty tempting. Interesting choice of a lantern for a kiddie toy... seems like there might have been a better choice for this particular line. Would love to have heard the sale pitch on this item to the Fisher-price people. "Yeah, he's just a GL villian, nothing big about him". Then later on... "What! He spews blood from his moth, and yadda, yadda, yadda...

well... he is the "Big Bad" in the new GL animated series coming out so maybe these toys are a prequel of that ...?

Since we don't have a thread dedicated to the line I thought we should get one considering how much new stuff seems to be on the way. I did find a new piece on Friday at K-Mart, the Cyborg with ATV set, hopefully I can find it again next payday!

OK, just to get everyone on the same page:

Currently there are single packs for:
Batman
Arctic Batman
Superman
Green Lantern Hal Jordan
Joker
Penguin
Mr. Freeze

Vehicle packs:
Batman with a Tumbler/Batmobile type thing
Joker w/Dragster
GL Hal w/jet, GL Kilowog, and GL Tomar Re are "coming soon"
Cyborg with ATV

I think I am missing one vehicle piece still, maybe a Batman w/batcycle or something like that.

The Fisher Price website doesn't list any of the newer pieces yet and sells them for about $2 more than in store retail.

We do have a thread for these already, it is here:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=19527
but it's probably a good idea to merge the threads or rename the old one for sake of ease in locating it.

D'oh! Went back three pages and completely missed that, figured that the discussion had been part of the Imaginext thread... oy... Renamed the thread as suggested and working on merging them...

Here's the cardback for Kilowog. Look it over...

...Ha! That Dex-Starr looks awesome! And now Atrocitus will have figures in Trio, Heroes World, DCUC (as a sub figure), and Action League. Crazy. And it looks like we'll have a bigger version of the Imaginext B'Dg. If those all get released this line will have:

5 Green Lanterns
Superman
Batman (with multiple versions of course)
Cyborg

Joker
Penquin
Mr. Freeze
Atrocitus
Dex-Starr

I'm really enjoying all the love GL characters are getting due to the movie and the upcoming cartoon.

Where did you find the Kilowog set? Still not available at FP.com and I haven't seen them in stores anywhere locally yet ...

Loving all the new reveals. Can't wait to get my hands on them.

For anyone getting into the line late ... the current packouts of single figures include a DVD. I have no idea what is on it, but that adds a bit of value at lest.
