Only for pre orders. If you don't pre order then you'll have to wait and buy it on the 22nd of November

Actually, according to Best Buy's site, the Robin codes will be packaged inside the cases. So all of the initial run that Best Buy gets should have a Robin code included, pre-order or not. Of course, you'll want to get there early to make sure you can get a copy with the DLC included.

Apparently I don't know anything haha. Really though, it was supposed to be a pre order exclusive but it sounds like Best Buy is doing something similar to what TRU is doing and just giving their exclusive out to whoever wants to get there first.

Nah, Best Buy initially stated the codes would be emailed for pre-orders only. They changed that aspect at some point.

Mortal Kombat, the last game WB released that had a lot of retailer-exclusive content, also had the codes included in the case, so it's probably a WB thing.

My only question is...

If you have a free figure you are using to attract buyers for the game (at$59.99) WHY would you sell the figure (at $14.99) BEFORE the game is released?

Seems to me that most if not all of the figures will be gone BEFORE the game gets released. I know the "limited quantities, while supplies last" is your disclaimer, but the fact is TRU NEVER had the free figure to give out because they put them on the shelf and sold them before the game was released.

That's just stupid.

Being an employee at TRU I can understand where you are coming from but you have to remember TRU is first and foremost a business. From a business standpoint what makes more sense? Selling the figure for a profit or giving it away for free? The same thing happens every time TRU does a sale with a free figure. Be it a sports game or whatever type of game. You are acting like the figures and the games arrive together, are stored together, and then are released together. Which is not how it works. Usually the figures arrive in the stores before the game is released, of course they are going to try to sell them. It just doesnt make sense not to. And guess what? once the sale is over, they will go right back to charging for them.

I know but it defeats the purpose. I'm going to get my $5.00 deposit refunded and buy the game at Best Buy. I only pre-ordered the game at TRU to get the figure, but since I could buy the figure anyways, why pre-order or buy the game at TRU?

I got the game and got the free figure with no hassles. Now I just have to wait until 630 so I can be off work and carack out playing some Batman.

Did anyone go to Midnight release for the game? I drove by my local Best Buy around 9ish last night and there was a small group of guys waiting but I have no idea how big of an "event" it turned out to be.

I'll be picking up the game this weekend once I cash my much needed paycheck. I might even call in sick to work on Monday ...

I didn't, but I've heard several people were out last night at different places. There were a lot of pictures on Twitter of people who dressed up for the release.

i ended up ordering online with tru for the game and it added the figure to my order. i thought this was the better exclusive anyway compared to best buy and gamestop. also, i bought the green lantern blu-ray combo movie today and it gives the code for the sinestro corp batman suit for arkham city. just and fyi for those that dont know.

I preordered from Best Buy. My question is, do they hold my copy until I go to pick it up or should I be getting my son dressed to go to the store ASAP? Kind of hoping I can wait until my wife gets homes. Feeling a bit lazy to get the boy dressed to pick up a game :lol:

Especially since I probable won't play it for a few days

^^That's what I heard. If us 360 people are lucky, maybe it will be available eventually like the rest of the exclusive DLC.
