Heheh, no worries. I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to grammar, especially in my own posts. Basically, she hasn't got all the bones that your standard human setup has. Instead of a full leg, she has just the bones from her lower leg going into her hip and they've formed sort of a semi-ball and socket. She's also missing her right arm and her left arm is shorter and fused through the elbow, with no thumb and three fingers fused into one. To get a better idea, look up Alison Lapper in Google. She's a famous foot-and-mouth artist who has the same congenital condition and posed, nude and pregnant, for a statue on one of the fourth plinth exhibitions in Trafalgar Square. As well as that, she and her son were part of the "Children of our Time" series of TV documentaries, showcasing families of children born at the start of 2000. Alison doesn't have either arm, whereas my wife has the one. My wife is the manager of Disability Direct in Nottingham, which is a needs-led advice and information service. So there you go. Ask and ye shall receive Jo

Are the 3 packs on sale Friday, and is there a limit to how many you can buy? Anyone know the answer?
Thanks!

At past shows it was a limit of 10 per person per day but I have no idea if that has been lifted for NYCC.

Are Mattel, Hasbro, DC or Marvel giving out any cool free stuff? Posters, key-chains, bags, etc?

No major give aways at Mattel. They were giving out more of the $5 off DC Universe coupons. With purchase you got one of the coupons, a gigantic red Mattel bag, and a pin or two...
A little OT, but they are also doing the Collect n Connect trade-in, where you bring a CnC piece, and root through their bins to find a piece that you need, and make a 1 for 1 trade. I was able to get the 2 Apache Chief pieces that I needed without having to buy figures that I didn't want...

Thanks for the information. About 10 of those $5 coupons would be nice. For CNC, I have three incomplete figures; Darkseid, Trigon and Bane.
I definitely need to go next year. Thanks again for the information.

I managed to snagged an extra set of JLU Con 3-packs as trading fodder. At least that part went well.

Uh oh. Did you have a bad con this year, Angel? I got into an argument with the staff at the ToyWiz table. Don't tell me you're going to help me and then ring up seven other people's orders who came up to the table after me. Grrrrr!

Actually I got a 3 day pass for free this year. A good friend slipped me his badge.

nquick wrote: Are Mattel, Hasbro, DC or Marvel giving out any cool free stuff? Posters, key-chains, bags, etc? Hasbro gave out Bumblebee Kre-o figures and Jem posters and sweat bands. DC gave out the same comics, pins and posters it had at SDCC, plus sunglasses promoting "Batman: Year One" and a fake light-up ice cube promoting "Smallville." The booth also had Lego Super Heroes versions of Green Lantern and a rare Superman chaser, but they went fast. Mattel had $5 DCUC coupons and Matty pins. Marvel gave away T-shirts and DVDs, but made fans scream and shout and wave their hands to get them, so I didn't bother.
